We had two cards on our Home Depot account. The balances have always been separate. Suddenly they are merged and the Citibank customer service says it was never separate. They will not listen and literally hung up on me when I said they were wrong. It was separate for 4 years before they suddenly merged them. I don’t know if it was their mistake but the gaslighting the customer that it never happened is ridiculous. I’m canceling my card and I will never buy from this store again.

Desired outcome: I would like my accounts returned to their previous status, but they won’t do that.
