On 5/28, I placed an order with Chillwell, Ontel Products Corporation, for a total of 4 units. On 5/31, deductions for 227.08 and warranty of 96.72 were deducted from my account. As of today, 6/18, after several attempts to get status of my orders, I received confirmation that 1 unit, marked as the "final" shipment in the amount of 53.49 has shipped. It is typical that the amount deducted from the account occurs when product is shipped which did not occur. The lack of response from Chillwell has me questioning the legitimacy of this company. The customer service email [protected]@rephelpdesk.com has not responded to my inquiries and no order confirmation (except for warranty) has ever been received. I would not want other consumers to experience a deduction in their account and not receiving product.

Desired outcome: Provide an account of order processing, how funds are deducted and provide order status updates. In the future, for other consumers, deduct from the account at the time of shipment like most reputable on-line companies.
I ordered a Chillwell A/C June 20 and my credit card was debited the same day. I received an email to say my order was shipped June 22 but nothing as of this date. They gave me a tracking number but the link was invalid. Emailed the order desk on June 29 but no response received. Tried phoning but no one answers.

I had the same exact experience with an order I placed about that same time (6/22). After trying all the online links seeking the status of my order, I finally called on the phone and a long wait...and it was. After almost 30 minutes, a real person picked up. I explained my situation and she listened and spent time attempting to resolve things. I eventually told her I would like to cancel my order and she told me she'd do that for me. We spent another 5 minutes getting this process completed and I expected to get a return number/label information from Intel. Instead I got another "congratulations" email from the company saying was one of the lucky ones to receive an expedited shipment. A few days later a package arrived with the Chillwell units. The shipping box had my label slapped onto at least one or two previous labels...this seems like a scam to me.
Seems like their ChillWell product is bogus. I waited a few weeks and after threatening to cancel with paypal I received my ChillWell. What a joke. The product is nothing like advertised. I even put the filter in the freezer and ice in the well like they suggest. Ran it for an hour in my 10'X12" bedroom and there was no noticeable change in the temperature. So I emailed to find out how to return and get a refund. After two weeks with no answer, I called customer service and waited for 32 minutes before I gave up. I'm sure that's what they hope. A few days later I called again and after 16 minutes someone picked up. Explained that their product was not as advertised and I want a refund. He took all my information and said I would get back all but shipping and handling within 7 to 10 business days. Another stall tactic. I asked where to ship it back and he said I could just keep it. Another Red Flag. At this point I filed a complaint with Paypal. After sending them what they asked for, they denied my claim. I can't figure that out. So much for their protection. I cancelled my Pay pal account. I'm still going to ship it back to where it came from.

I order two Chillwell on June7th 2022.
June 11th received a email confirming shipment and a tracking number. The tracking number link was not "found". Started getting a bad feeling and tried numerous times to call the order desk number and the customer service email. No response.
July 8th reported them as possible fraud to Mastercard but they said they can not do anything until 30 days after last contact.
July 12 product arrived. took the units with me on holidays for two weeks. no effective at all. Loud, leaks water short run time per charge and did not affect the temperature at all. Even put a thermometer right in front of it to check.
August 5th someone at their help desk finally picked up. offered me a full return less shipping if I provided them with a tracking number and once the units arrived or 50% refund and I keep the the units. Not trusting that I won't be out the additional shipping to return it i took the 50% deal. Was told it would be about a week before it shows on my credit card.
August 12th - no credit. called customer service. Now told the credit shows on my account but can be up to 15 days to show on the credit card.
Sept 2/22: still no credit. can not get through to the customer service desk by phone (no answer) and no reply from email.
I'm 60 years old. And have never had such a rough time then I have had these past few months. And just when I thought I might have some relief, it to was taken. I had been expecting a refund in two of the Chillwell AC's that I had bought but were not happy with and was told that they refund the money...and on Oct 14, they was a refund, of two checks sent to my bank. They even had the transaction numbers for both checks. Yet the bank says they didn't receive them. I have tried to get the information but they said they didn't receive anything. And the bad luck continues...I just thought you should know that I don't have the strength to fight anymore...or the will to try...
