Checkers FX Design Quarter review: Falsely accused of theft

Good day

I am witting this complaint because of the treatment I received at checkers this past weekend on Saturday around 9:30am

I went to shop as usual as I am their everyday customer. I went in at checkers took some 6 soaps and went to another isle to get sta-soft, while I was at that I isle I decided to put the soaps down so that I can go to clicks as I had already did my price comparison. Went outside bought what I needed from clicks came back at checkers to get the three items I wanted.

On my way out the security requested for my slip, something new to me because I was never asked to produce a slip before at this checkers. I gave the security without hesitation and he made a comment that I came in with clicks plastic and didn't close it, I was like yes because I used it to put some of the stuff I had bought here at checkers. while I'm talking to this security two men come from a different direction approaching me and I got confused,. One guy advised me to walk to their small office without making me understand what was going on. I was intimidated, right there I felt violated by the same place I been supporting with my money, As we got to this small office the same guy who advised me to go there told that he saw me taking 6 soaps and then I left to clicks without paying them.

I told him obviously I wouldn't have paid them because I left them inside the shop, he asked where I had left them I told him. He told to stay in there he is going to investigate if what I am saying is indeed correct. He came back with them, but my question is what if someone had taken them while I was out at clicks what would have happened to me? If he managed to see me on the camera while taking them why couldn't he see me on the same camera when I left them there instead of falsely accusing me of stealing soap after spending so much of my money there? Is it because I am black that he thought of me as someone who can steal soap nogal? I am angry and was embarrassed Infront of other customers that were there looking at me being interrogated because checkers doesn't have enough facilities to see customers on each and every isle instead they are keep to jump into conclusion that we are thieves. I am not happy at all and considering even changing where I shop because that was very offensive and I need answers.
