I rented a home from Charles Wiebe in October, 2009, for my daughter's wedding. The house itself was great, with the exception of some electrical problems, and a garage full of junk that did not allow for storing excess outdoor furniture to make way for wedding tables, etc. The problem is with the owner, Charles Wiebe, who has an office in the rental house, and continues to be in and out of it at all times of the day and night while the renter(s) are staying there, without consent or notice. He also "popped up" several times at the wedding and the evening reception without consent or notice. Some of my guests found it rather uncomfortable and "creepy". After leaving the property, I have tried on many occasions to retrieve my refundable deposit to no avail. The guy just does not answer any phone calls or e-mails. I have been contacted by other parties who have, or are having the same issues. Renter Beware!

I had the same experience with this guy. In and out of the yard when kids were swimming, in and out of my reception for no reason, in and out of the house whenever he pleased. He even showed the house and yard to potential renter without asking us if it was ok. I have had many people contact me with the same experience. I encourage everyone to check this NV Better Business Bureau http://southernnevada.bbb.org/checkbusinesscharity.asp Type in Charles Wiebe's name. You will see he received a F rating and most of his complaints are for not returning deposits. This is his typical scam. Do not rent from him.

I would like to say a few positive things about Charles Wiebe and his estate rental services. My wife and I have been using Charlie's rental properties for years for all types of events and have never had any problems. We had a wedding hosted there over the Winter and I can honestly say that we didn't experience ANY of the complaints previously listed here. I would suggest not letting a few bad opinions sway you from one of the best estate rental guys in all of Las Vegas.
Very surprised to find a complaint on here about Charles and his rental services. For the past 3 years I have been referring friends and clients to Charlie for estate rentals and would not change a thing. We've used his services for birthday parties all the way to filming a commercial for one of my business partners. Without a doubt Charlie takes care of his people every single time. Don't just take my word for it either...call him and simply see for yourself.

I had a very pleasant visit to Vegas over the last week and a half. My husband and I came in for Valentines day and stayed in one of the French Villa property Charles rents. The place was a dream come true in every aspect. The house was gorgeous and Charlie was an exceptional host.

My daughter and I arrived today to experience an amazing sixteenth birthday weekend. We plan on having a party hosted here tomorrow night and couldn't be more excited. What influenced my decision in choosing Charlie was the reviews found here as well as his affiliations. Mostly when I found out he was a Shriner. I had to give him a chance because my daughter had her extra thumb removed at the Sacramento Shriner's hospital. I expect nothing less then great service and a weekend to remember.
I do not believe the positive reviews one bit. I even contacted some of their neighbors and they know them to be dirt bags also. I also know from contacting half a dozen previous renters that they treated each one with the same disrespect. I would not put it past Charles and his partners to have put up the positive posts themselves.
He's a VERY good skimmer - knows exactly what to look for in Vulnerable people - on a dime !
