I ordered a fancy new OnePlus 6 battery from their website on the night of September 3rd, 2018 and got charged on my credit card the amount of $17 straight away. They did send me an email confirming my order and the amount that I was charged, which was cool but that was pretty much all I got from them.

After a couple of days had passed without any updates on the whereabouts of my precious battery, I reached out to them on September 5th, 2018, asking if they could let me know what was going on and if they had shipped my package or not. They never replied to me at all and it's been four whole days since I placed my order! According to their website, the usual delivery time for my battery should have been from 3 to 10 days at most, which seemed like plenty of time for them to send my package over.

At this point, I hit them up again on September 10th, 2018, warning them that if I didn't hear anything from them soon, I would have to stop the payment and refund my credit card as it had already been a week since I placed my order and it was pretty strange that they didn't have it shipped yet. However, I still didn't hear back from them on that, either.

I didn't wanna go through the hassle of logging into their website to check the status of my order because they would have required me to give them more of my personal information and that didn't sound safe to me, at all. Then, on September 13th, 2018, I finally attempted to request a refund since I'd experienced such poor communication from their side.

They answered back to me and stated that they would be cancelling my order immediately and would issue a refund within a few days. They clearly didn't appreciate that I had used words such as fraudulent and scamming in my previous message because they used that against me. So, I asked them why the order had been delayed if the battery was guaranteed to work. They then told me that they had to test out the battery to ensure that it was working. I mean, why weren't the batteries tested before placing them for sale instead? On top of that, they gave me no reply for ten days straight. Why would it even take ten days to test a battery?

Rightfully, the whole ordeal was nothing but a bad scam and I'd strongly suggest avoiding them at any cost. The website appearance may seem deceiving at first but the reality is far from it.

The material used, such as the flex cable, was also a lot thinner than the original and Capas items.
