Yesterday (21th July 2016), I went to Caritas Clinic at Ubi Avenue 1. The doctor who served me was Dr. Chan Cheow Ju. I felt that this doctor has conducted some inappropriate acts on me. I told him that only my hands and feet were itchy but he insisted that he also wanted to see my back. Initially, I thought he only wanted to see but I was shocked that he patted on my lower back twice and said, "Not so bad". My question is why did he do that?Besides that, he also requested to test my blood pressure and I agreed. However, he also touched my upper chest when he was attempting to push my hair back. I am not sure if he did it on purpose or accidentally but the problem is if he found my long hair disturbing, he should have told me and I would do it myself. Despite he is a doctor but he should not touch a patient as he wishes. I really feel disappointed and uncomfortable by his actions.
I do not want to talk about this anymore. Some people told me that I have been over-reacted with the situation. So, I wanted to delete this complaint but the support team takes forever to reply.
I have a same incident and I don’t think you are the only one. Someone have to do something. I felt molested on Monday when I go there for pre employment check up. And I think he had been doing it.
