The official DMV site for car registration is great!

There is no point to this copycat site at all. They duplicate (for a fee) the services that are already available on the California DMV's official site.

Furthermore, they had all the information about my vehicle except the fact that I had already registered it online when they sent me an email notice that today was the last day to register before penalties would apply.
I went to their site and
signed on to their chat, but never heard anything from them. So I googled to see if people thought their site was a scam. That got me a bunch of information saying they weren't exactly a scam, but kinda suspect.

Recommendation: Use DMV site - dmv.ca.gov!
