I buy 400 to 500 chicks every year. Cackle is the worst company to deal with and their chicks are inferior to those at other hatcheries. They have the lowest gurantee period of 24 hours where other hatcheries have 48 hours. And if most of your chicks arrive dead, as mine did, they will not honor their guarantee. Not one more dime will they get from me. 28 out of 60 dead at arrival. Another 17 died the first day. 8 more over their first night. They did not give a refund per their guarantee.
Recommendation: Buy from any other hatchery than Cackle.
1/3 of the chicks i ordered died within 24 hours and because they werent already dead, they wouldnt do anything about it. I let them know at 48 hours that some had died and they were like "sorry bout it"
then they get [censored]ty with you when you leave a bad review. But with as many one star reviews as they have, I feel like those speak for themselves.
