On April 13, I purchased two Sunrise Mature Chickens. I roasted one of them on April 23 and attempted to eat it but there was little bit of meat on it and there was also feathers still on the chicken. Also what meat there was on it was very rubbery. I returned to the store and explained that I was not happy with the chicken and I wanted a refund. They said there was a no return policy in affect. The customer service spoke to the manager and then told me it was a chicken that should be boiled and used for soup. On the chicken package it instructs you on how to roast the chicken and nothing about boiling it and using it in soup. I told them they should have explained this on the product. Food Basics apologized but said they could not give me a refund. I am not happy that Food Basics was not helpful in this situation. Also stated on their website is a statement that if you are not satisfied with the freshness of your product you will be refunded. Covid may have effected all our lives but that does not give a company such as "Food Basics" to give poor quality food and service. I have attached three pictures in regards to the product and service.
Desired outcome: A full refund.
