PC Financial / President's Choice Financial Mastercard - Intentional miscalculation of points

Hello, my name is Roger Cabezas. I live at 104 Six Point Rd in Etobicoke Ontario. I am writing today to inform you of my negative experience with your points system.

On August 11th, 2021 I purchased some groceries at No Frills at 1020 Islington Avenue. The amount spent was $317 and I was awarded 3, 170 points for that transaction. However I have a WORLD Mastercard, meaning that I should have been awarded double that sum (6340). I filed a points claim and was asked to submit a receipt and card information, which I did. I didn't have a receipt so instead I sent them screenshots of my PC Financial statement and a summary of my PC Optimum points card to show the transaction. They responded with a nonsensical email and closed the claim.

It's important to understand that I have had to file points claims EACH AND EVERY time I have used my World Mastercard at No Frills or Esso (places where I get more than 10 points per dollar/litre), and each time it has been corrected swiftly. I don't understand why I needed to provide proof this time (Aug 11th) and why it was denied after ahowing proof. All I want is for my points to be calculated properly so I don't have to file a points claim every single time.

In conclusion, I believe whoever is responsible for correcting these points claims has intentionally asked me for proof just to inconvenience me without ever having the intention of honestly examining the issue. I have the emails that were sent back and forth including the proof they asked for and can provide it to you if you like. Please fix this issue so I can stop worrying about this silly matter.

One more thing that I have had to explain to them. My PC Financial Mastercard is attached to my wife's PC Optimum points account (Jelena Petrovic), and she is also a secondary user on my credit card)
