Dear Canadian Tire,
I recently moved to Elliot Lake ON. I am not impressed with the Canadian Tire store or the service provided to their customers.
First of all many of the cashiers are rude.
Second of all it's impossible to practice self-distancing at the front of the store (near the cashiers) since the area is so congested with racks of merchandise. Customers are confused as to where they should stand to wait their turn to get served by a cashier. Therefore they tend to huddle together in a very small (very congested) area.
Third of all, today, I had my summer tires switched for winter tires. When I got home I realized that the mechanic had not put the hubcaps back on the wheels. I found them in the backseat of my car along with my summer tires.
When I returned to the service desk I was told that they'd put them back on after I drive 50 kms.
What? I asked them to put my hubcaps back on and they refused to do so.
I love Elliot Lake, but, I truly hate the Canadian Tire store here.
The manager should be fired for running a low quality facility.
A new Rona store has recently opened in Elliot Lake. I hope that Rona kicks Canadian Tire's "BUTT".
I'm thankful that the incompetence of management and staff that I've witnessed firsthand is isolated to only this store. All other stores in this town are fantastic.
Shame on you Elliot Lake Canadian Tire!
