Shoppers Drug Mart - invalid credit card item not refundable upon purchased per store mgr, I must phone and take the matter to the product supplier

Master Card "Gift Card" $100.00 value was declined when used. Manager Ms J was notified today and she said "i cannot do anything, you have to phone them (MC) or you can go to our website complaint section at Shoppersdrugmart.ca".

INCIDENT
My Son's and daughter's b-day gift card called a MASTER CARD Gift Card (Le Cadeau Parfait) price.d for $100.00 ea purchased at the above Shopper's Drug Mart in Canada approx. 2nd week of March 2019. My Son used his card and it was good without activating it according to him his Ph.#[protected]. My daughter's card did not go through when we used to buy or pay something, and according to the Manager (name and employee# withheld) at MC call center at Tel.#1855-288-0926 he stated "this MC #[protected] has been cancelled due to a security reasons, so i will send you a new one in the mail called "expedite" which will take about 3-5 business day, Mr. Altejos, this complaints of MC issues has been a problem for almost a year now and still distributed out in the market today, you can also take it up from the store where you buy this MC". So, i waited for 3-5 business days, a no. of weeks has gone by Since May 27, 2019, so on June 11, 2019 i called the MC representative once again and a lady Manager (name and empl.#withheld) was notified, she said " oh yes, it was over 10 days now, do not worry, i will re-send another new MC as "expedite" but you need to wait for 3-5 bus. days ok but you can also take it up to the store if they can help you and they can communicate the problem with us".

We just hope the Shopers Drug Mart can resolve this issue as a valued customer without having to pass the burden on to their customers, it was a very disappointing, extremely inconvenient and compromising memorable incident that impacted my family. After we put our trust and respect to the Store's business reputation for years, all of a sudden we were told that we must take this problem up with the card issuer and not to the Vendor. Per the Supplier, this product was purchased with some administrative issues confronting the customers. Attached you will see a photo(s) to identify the first card purchased at the store sometime between 12-15 March 2019, the card has a last 4 digits that ends #1651, the second card which has a label at the front "to activate your card" has a last 4 digits #7238 was also cancelled.
