Dollarama - really bad customer service. almost deadly

My brother went into the Dollarama in murrayville on his way to my house from work the other day & he couldn't breathe. He had an anxiety attack. When he walk into the Dollarama immediately a code went over the intercom and he went to the isle he needed to purchase what he needed & a older big lady just about tackled my brother when someone came up the opposite side of the isle and said "don't, he's ok". My brother made his purchases but was so shooken up, he was having a hard time catching his breath. The woman saw that my brother was having a hard time because she gave him the excuse of "we've had a lot of people stealing today". I'm making this complaint because I'm concerned & worried my children shop there with me & my teenage son goes on his own a lot. I don't think it's fair that people can be judged on what they are wearing or their looks in any way. When did you have to start dressing up to go to Dollarama? I'm a concerned family member hoping I never see my brother having such a hard time breathing with chest pains because of an old fluffy lady's opinion of his work clothes.

Dollarama - employee

I was shopping in your store on Oct 26, 2019 when one of your employees Samantha Formann came around the corner and said to another employee that my husband and I were banned from this store. Then the employee approached us and told us we had to leave, I asked why and she could t give me an answer. And when I said your new employee Samantha told you a lie the other employee walked off and I was able to make my purchase.

Now Samantha is friends with my ex with whom their are court proceedings on going and protection orders in place. She clearly was trying to cause issues for us in your store because of her relationship to my ex.

We have been nothing but please thank when we have seen her in the store, as we have no issues with her. It's not right that your employee has taken a personal attack under the Dollarama name. I expect an apology from Dollarama for the embarrassment and stress your employee has caused us. And I would like confirmation that we are allowed to continue shopping in your store as we have done since it opened.

I would also like a regional manager to contact me at [protected] to discuss this further.

Sheryl
