Westin Vacation Ownership reviews and complaints
Broken Promises
A few years ago I made the mistake of buying a timeshare in Hawaii from Westin. I was told the yearly fees would be between $[protected] per year for a 2 BR lockoff. I have never paid less than $2380 and am currently paying $2500. They have recently sent me something that says it may be even more next year. That was their first lie. They told me I could book at any of their resorts and use the credit I have at my home resort. I have tried for the last 3 months to get a room at 2 different locations that I want to visit in November, with no success. They NOW tell me that they have limited inventory for owners and use a bunch of rooms to recruit more suckers! Obviously, this is B.S. since I spent $50K to get into their supposedly exclusive club. I WOULD NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, AT ANY PRICE, CONSIDER BUYING FROM/AT WESTIN! Run don't walk.

You guessed it - after numerous phone calls all over the SPG and...
