Discount Electronics Great deal, nice equipment

I ordered an HP ZBook from them earlier in the week. After reading the complaints I was hesitant. Then I went to the BBB site, saw they are accredited, and read those complaints that fell into a couple categories largely: those who expected DE to fully configure the equipment for them, and those who didn't realize they were buying older gear. DE addressed all the complaints there reasonably.

My Zbook is nearly 5 years old, and it looks to be in mint condition. I researched these before buying and they are W11 compatible. It came pre-loaded with W10 64 bit pro. Everything works. I've had it running a few days now. Tracking info was accurate, and it took 2 days to arrive, so no problems with shipping. I didn't have to call customer service so I cannot comment about that. But my ordering experience, the quality of my item, and the accurate description were all satisfying. The only negative I could mention is the policy of not refunding and just issuing in-store credit. Fortunately, I did not have to use that-- at least yet. I've worked IT for a long time, the HP Zbooks are powerful machines, and the one I received, though Class B, looked like Class A easily. On this basis I do recommend them. I got a decent deal on a very powerful laptop to replace my old 2006 vintage ThinkPad.

Recommendation: I recommend them based on my experience.

Discount Electronics Save Big on Refurbished Dell Computers at Discount Electronics

Discount Electronics is a great place to find refurbished Dell computers. I've checked out Dell's outlet center before, but I don't think their deals are all that great. They only knock a little bit off the price of a new system, probably so they can keep selling new ones. But at Discount Electronics, you can get a used or refurbished laptop or desktop for a really good price. And the best part is, you don't even need to buy an extended warranty. If something goes wrong, you can just get a new one.

I've found that if you're willing to stay just 1-2 years behind in technology, you can save a bundle. And Discount Electronics makes it easy to do that. They have a wide selection of refurbished Dell computers, so you can find one that fits your needs and budget. Plus, their prices are really competitive.

I've bought a few computers from Discount Electronics over the years, and I've always been happy with my purchases. The computers have all been in great condition, and they've worked perfectly. And the prices have been unbeatable.

If you're in the market for a new computer, I highly recommend checking out Discount Electronics. You won't be disappointed!

Discount Electronics Excellent Customer Service and Covid-19 Precautions at Discount Electronics in Round Rock

When I walked into Discount Electronics, I was met by a friendly employee named Rico. He checked my temperature and gave me some hand sanitizer, which made me feel like they were taking the Covid 19 virus seriously. Another employee, Richard, took my laptop and started working on it right away. He explained everything he was doing, which was really nice of him. The whole crew, including Rico and Richard, were awesome and provided great customer service. I'm definitely going to tell my friends about Discount Electronics in Round Rock. They really know how to take care of their customers!

Discount Electronics Misleading Return Policy and Rude Customer Service at Discount Electronics

I recently had an experience with Discount Electronics that left me feeling quite frustrated. My husband had purchased a refurbished PC from them, and we were under the impression that there was a 90-day return policy in case anything went wrong. Unfortunately, the computer didn't work properly, so I called the company to inquire about returning it.

To my surprise, I was told that there was only a 7-day return policy, and that I would only be able to receive store credit instead of a refund. I was quite upset by this, as we had specifically chosen Discount Electronics because of their supposed 90-day return policy. When I expressed my frustration, the customer service representative on the phone became quite rude and condescending, telling me that I was "too stupid" to know how to hook up the computer properly.

I was taken aback by this response, as I had simply been trying to understand the return policy and my options for returning the computer. The representative then suggested that I bring the computer into the store so that they could hook it up for me and label everything, so that I would know how to do it myself when I got home.

Overall, I was extremely disappointed by my experience with Discount Electronics. While I appreciate their willingness to help me hook up the computer, I was put off by the rude and unprofessional behavior of the customer service representative. Additionally, the discrepancy between the advertised return policy and the actual policy was frustrating and left me feeling like I had been misled. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy electronics retailer.

Discount Electronics Poor Customer Service and Unwillingness to Negotiate Bulk Discounts at Discount Electronics

I gotta say, I'm not too impressed with Discount Electronics. I've been trying to get in touch with them for ages, but they never pick up the phone. And when I finally managed to get through to them via email, their responses were pretty generic and unhelpful. It's like they don't even care about making sales!

I even tried to negotiate a bulk discount with them - I was looking to buy hundreds of units, so you'd think they'd be willing to cut me a deal. But nope, Eugene and Joe (or whoever their customer service people are) just kept giving me the runaround. They said they couldn't discount anything at the moment, which just doesn't make sense to me. I mean, it would cost them thousands of dollars to ship out each individual unit to hundreds of customers, but my bulk order would only cost a few hundred. So why wouldn't they want to work with me?

Honestly, I'm pretty disappointed. I was hoping to do business with Discount Electronics, but now I'm forced to take my money elsewhere. Maybe they'll learn their lesson and start treating their customers better in the future.

Discount Electronics Disappointed with Discount Electronics: Poor Quality and Customer Service

I recently purchased a computer from Discount Electronics (discountelectronics.com) and was disappointed to find out that it was a refurbished 10-year-old model. The volume on the computer is not loud enough to hear videos or even recipe directions, and the screen resolution is also very poor. Despite paying $555 for it, they sent me a label to get it checked out and sent it right back to me, saying it was fine. To make matters worse, there is a label on it that says Windows 7!

When I had a computer guy come over to help me set it up, he was shocked and asked, "Where did you dig up this relic?" I felt like I had been conned by Discount Electronics! I needed a laptop that works, so I went to Best Buy and let the Geek Squad take care of me. I "had to" get a working computer, and I'll let them check out this garbage.

I had to contact the Better Business Bureau because I felt like I had been conned by Discount Electronics. They sold me garbage, and I was not happy about it. I wish I had known that I was buying a refurbished computer before I made the purchase. I would have never spent $555 on a 10-year-old computer that doesn't work properly.

Overall, I would not recommend Discount Electronics to anyone looking for a reliable computer. The quality of their products is poor, and their customer service is even worse. If you're looking for a computer, I suggest going to a reputable retailer like Best Buy or Amazon. Don't waste your time or money on Discount Electronics.

Discount Electronics Dishonest and Disappointing: Our Experience with Discount Electronics

We recently purchased three refurbished monitors from Discount Electronics and unfortunately, we were quite disappointed with the products we received. The monitors were outdated and did not have an HDMI connection, which is a must-have feature for modern computers. Additionally, the monitors were scratched and showed signs of wear and tear.

To make matters worse, when we contacted customer service to request a refund, we were informed that they only offer store credit and that we would have to exchange the monitors for ones with an HDMI connection. However, the price for their old, used monitors with an HDMI connection was almost the same as buying a brand new one. This felt like a dishonest tactic to sell old and outdated products at a high price.

We were extremely disappointed with the lack of transparency and honesty from Discount Electronics. We would have preferred to receive a refund for our purchase, but instead, we were forced to exchange the monitors for ones that we didn't even want.

In the end, we decided that it was not worth the time and trouble to deal with this dishonest business. We would rather lose our money than continue to do business with a company that does not value their customers. To make matters worse, when we tried to contact customer service, they were unresponsive and did not pick up the phone.

Overall, we would not recommend Discount Electronics to anyone looking for reliable and honest products. It is better to spend a little extra money and purchase a brand new monitor from a reputable company than to deal with the hassle and disappointment of purchasing from Discount Electronics.

Discount Electronics Discount Electronics: The Kings of Stupidity in Marketing Tactics

Discount Electronics, or as I like to call them, the kings of stupidity in the marketing world, have truly outdone themselves. They seem to think that bombarding their customers with endless emails is the way to make a profit. Can you believe it? I mean, it's not like we have anything better to do than to sift through their spam messages all day long.

I have personally reported them for their excessive email abuse, but instead of taking it as a sign to improve their marketing tactics, they have decided to play a little game with me. I receive several emails from them every single day, and it's clear that they're doing it just to annoy me.

Now, I could simply block them and move on with my life, but what's more important here is the fact that these people have the mentality of a child. They think that by irritating their customers, they will somehow make a profit. What they fail to realize is that they are only driving their customers away.

And let's not forget about the damage they're doing to their own reputation. By treating their customers like this, they are only ensuring that they will lose future business. Word of mouth is a powerful thing, and I can guarantee you that I will be telling everyone I know about my experience with Discount Electronics.

But you know what? I actually thank them for their spam. It gives me the opportunity to retaliate and cost them tens of thousands of dollars in revenue. And let's be real here, would you really want to purchase anything from a company that treats their customers like this? I certainly wouldn't.

So Discount Electronics, keep those emails coming. I'm ready for a good old-fashioned war. But just know that your actions are not only disgusting, but they also show a complete lack of intelligence and common sense.

Discount Electronics Beware of Discount Electronics: A Scam That Cannot Be Trusted

I recently had an experience with Discount Electronics and I have to say, it was not a good one. I was in need of some new computers for my office and thought I would give them a try. However, I quickly realized that these guys are not to be trusted.

At first, I thought I was getting a great deal on two DELL solid state mid range computers for $500. But when I got them back to the office, our IT guy noticed that they actually had hard drives and one of them had a very weak hard drive that would not last more than a couple of months. I immediately went back to the store to return them and get my money back.

However, things did not go as smoothly as I had hoped. The employee who sold me the computers was not there and the one who was there, David (with long hair), told me that they could not issue a refund but could only give me an "in store credit" less a restocking fee. I was not happy with this and things got heated. David eventually took my broken computers and told me to leave.

I later found out that my experience was not unique. Discount Electronics has a reputation for preying on novice computer consumers and older people. They make it seem like you are getting a high quality, rebuilt machine when in reality you are getting junk. And if you try to return it, they will give you the runaround.

I would advise anyone looking for a new computer to buy brand new online and get a real warranty for less money. And don't be fooled by the five star reviews on Yelp, they are all fake. In fact, our company is filing a small claims suit against Discount Electronics for fraud, theft, deceptive trade practices, and making false statements.

In conclusion, I would not recommend doing business with Discount Electronics. They are a scam and cannot be trusted.

Discount Electronics Beware of Discount Electronics: Poor Customer Service and Ineffective Repairs

I recently purchased a Dell desktop from Discount Electronics and unfortunately, it has been giving me some issues. As someone who knows a thing or two about computers, I decided to take matters into my own hands and try to fix it myself. I started by replacing the hard drive, but the problem persisted. I then tried replacing the RAM and power supply, but still no luck. I ended up replacing everything except for the motherboard and CPU, but the issue remained.

I reached out to Discount Electronics via email and explained the situation. They requested a screenshot of a Dell diagnostic test, which I provided, but I also mentioned that it may not show everything. I even offered to run the test with the faulty hard drive to show them that it was indeed an issue with the computer itself and not just the hard drive. Despite my efforts, all they did was replace the hard drive and send it back to me. To my disappointment, the computer still had the same issue.

I sent it back to them and they received it on the 27th. To my surprise, I received it back on the 30th, which was a pretty quick turnaround. However, they didn't do anything to fix the issue. They simply installed a new hard drive and Windows and sent it back to me. It's frustrating to say the least, and I'm starting to feel like they're not taking my concerns seriously.

I've read other reviews online and it seems like I'm not the only one who has had a negative experience with Discount Electronics. I would advise anyone considering purchasing from them to do their research first. Check out the Better Business Bureau or read reviews from other customers. It's not just my opinion, it's a fact that they have ripped off many people. We need to hold companies like this accountable and make sure they don't continue to take advantage of unsuspecting customers.

Discount Electronics Terrible Customer Service: My Experience with Discount Electronics

I am a student in my second semester of higher education for adult learners. It has been over 20 years since I was last in school. The community college I attend sponsors Discount Electronics. At first, I was skeptical of the prices, as they seemed too good to be true. However, I decided to take a chance and order a rebuilt Dell computer with Windows 10 and antivirus software for $310.00. I used grant money to pay for it, so I felt it was worth the risk.

To my surprise, I received the computer very quickly, aside from a small hiccup with the delivery address being incorrect. However, this was quickly fixed, and I received my order within three days. I was ecstatic when I opened the box and saw everything that came with it. I plugged everything in, and within minutes, everything was up and running. The computer looked and performed like a new one. It was so fast, and everything was very user-friendly. I was so happy with my purchase that I told my family and friends about the company and how great they were. I even told my teachers and classmates at school. I was proud to be a customer of a company that supplied computers to less fortunate students.

However, two weeks ago, the computer prompted me to enter a password after entering my access pin. I had never encountered this before, and I could not bypass the prompt and log on. I had friends try to help, but no one could bypass the password prompt. I never put a password on the computer, so none of the passwords I knew worked. After multiple tries and reboots with no success, I decided to do a rugged boot of the PC, which meant I would lose any saved files and start new. After the rugged boot, the interface loaded, but the PC would not recognize any keyboard or mouse with a cord or wireless. I could not do anything, so I called the customer service line.

The customer service agent asked me a couple of questions through a chat and then sent an email with a mailing label with the postage paid. They informed me that they would send a replacement. However, a week went by, and I heard nothing from Discount Electronics except for the ten email sales they send every day. I sent an email and asked about the status of my replacement. The response I received said that the unit was delivered on Tuesday. It was Friday when I received the email. The email went on to say that if I did not have the replacement, I should file a complaint with UPS.

Now I understand why this company sells its inventory so cheap. If you receive a package from UPS, the sender is the one that needs to file the inquiry, not the receiver. The fact that this company is not aware of that is why they are a terrible company. I do not know much about the hardware of computers, but I do know customer service and how a company deals with its customers. Unfortunately, this company has none of that. The customer service reps do not know how to send an appropriate email, and they have no clue how to respond to a customer requesting service of any kind.

With prices like theirs, the customer expects an inferior product. That is what explains the price. The question most customers have is, "What is a home computer?" I mostly use the computer to surf the web and keep it in a place for the family to use. I am not concerned with how fast it is or how much memory it has. A cheap computer has a significant market if you ask me. This is an excellent option for someone in my position as a student with no money.

Customer service, in my opinion, is the easiest part of any business and one of the most important. All a company needs is an HR department that hires people who care about other people and the knowledge that the employee can make a miserable customer very happy and a loyal customer that comes back repeatedly. Unfortunately, Discount Electronics is trying to give bad customer service with an inferior product. I have been waiting for two weeks now for a replacement that has been sent to me three times. I still do not have the replacement. I have sent emails and made phone calls, and I am still waiting.

I wish I could tell you why I do not have relief, but because they will not answer any questions I have, I do not know. I know that Discount Electronics can show receipts of the replacement sent to the wrong address. I have requested that they send me a notification as to when to expect the delivery so that I am home to receive it. They say they will, but they don't. I have requested that they ask UPS to collect a signature and not just drop off the package. The service agent communicating through emails had excuses why they don't do that. She even commented that it was not a good solution because what if I was not home when the delivery arrived? Then I would have to wait longer.

I am writing this out of frustration at how the simplest thing can get so messed up. The bottom line is that I got a fabulous computer, and when it stopped working, they offered to replace the product. However, that does little for me because this company does not have employees that can mail out the product to the correct address. The customer service agent is excellent at not listening to customers and can insult and irritate people. They managed to take a customer like me who was very happy with an inferior product and turn them around. As I feel now, if they offered me an accessible new computer, I am so upset I cannot even talk to them. The last email I sent started with "I give up," followed by "do what you can." Then I went to Walmart.com and bought a computer for $800.00. If I receive a replacement from Discount Electronics, I will drop it off at Goodwill. Terrible company, do not deal with them.

Extremely misleading marketing with near-useless technology. Their pricing for laptops and PCs are $100 above the average selling price. Their products are all 3-10 years old. For laptops and PCs, that's unusable, even for business. They market these laptops as 70% off the current price but, in actuality, it's 70% off the release price which is not useful whatsoever. On top of that, if you want a refund, they only give store credit. Why would I want store credit for another outdated, overpriced, used laptop? This place is a borderline scam. Never buy anything from this place.

I bought a computer as they advertised HDMI OUTPUT. THE HDMI did not work on trying to resolve this issue I was told it only works on a 27 inch TV. Also the Bluetooth didn't work.Completely ridiculous. They would not exchange the computer as it was dysfunctional. Now I am stuck with a 450 dollar computer. I am on disability and this was a splurge for me. I am devastated. Please help me

I've bought several computers, laptops, and tablets from the. Their product always have bugs in them. They do not give refunds and their store credits are a third of the product once you walk out of the store. They have a rude store clerk, he might be a manager. What seems like a good deal turns out to be a rip off. You are buying electronics that seem to be new but they are reconditioned with large flaws/bugs. In November, I purchased a tablet and I had problem after problem. I will never shop with them again. Not worth the headache.

I do not think it is a good business Discount Electronics they should be able to refund customers their money if they are not satisfied with their product. This is an unacceptable business practice. I will ALWAYS read the FINE PRINT about RETURN POLICICES and always look up businesses before purchasing anything from them at the ComplaintsBoard.com. They offered store credit which I think is very unacceptable. I will visit their website but really I do not think they have anything that I would want to purchase. I probably will end up donating my store credit. I will see after looking at what they have to offer. This was a very let-down doing business with Discount Electronics products. Respectfully

Discount Electronics Disappointing Experience with Discount Electronics: Empty Laptop and No Refunds

I recently made a purchase from Discount Electronics and I have to say, I was not impressed with my experience. I decided to buy a refurbished laptop from them, and was told that I would have a 90 day return policy in case anything went wrong. However, when my laptop arrived, I was shocked to find that it was completely empty - there was nothing inside the shell of the laptop!

Naturally, I was very upset and immediately tried to return the laptop to Discount Electronics. However, I was told that there were no refunds available, which left me feeling very frustrated and disappointed. It seemed like a complete scam to me.

Overall, I would not recommend Discount Electronics to anyone looking to purchase a refurbished laptop or any other electronics. The lack of customer service and the fact that they do not honor their own return policy is a major red flag. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for your electronics needs.

Discount Electronics Disappointing Experience with Discount Electronics: HP Monitor Review

I recently made a purchase from Discount Electronics, specifically a 27 inch HP computer monitor. Unfortunately, upon receiving the monitor, I realized that it did not have the necessary pin plug. This meant that I had to order an adapter cable separately, which was a bit of a hassle.

However, my troubles did not end there. When I finally got everything set up and turned on the monitor, it only took less than 10 minutes for the screen to go completely blank. I tried multiple times to get it to work again, but unfortunately, my efforts were in vain.

Overall, I was quite disappointed with my experience with Discount Electronics. While I understand that refurbished products may not always be the most reliable, I was still hoping for a better outcome. I would not recommend purchasing from this company, as my experience was less than satisfactory.

Discount Electronics Terrible Experience with Discount Electronics: Poor Quality PCs and Unhelpful Customer Service

Discount Electronics is not a good place to buy a PC. Their computers are not good quality and their customer service is not helpful. It took a long time for them to send me my PC and when I finally got it, the hard drive was broken. I had to talk to customer service many times and they did not help me. They just made me more frustrated. I wanted to get my money back, but they do not give refunds. It was a waste of my time and money.

Discount Electronics Terrible Experience with Discount Electronics: Unreliable Products and Poor Customer Service

I recently purchased 3 refurbished desktops from Discount Electronics and unfortunately, none of them worked properly. I was extremely disappointed with my experience and reached out to their customer service team for assistance. They offered me "in store credit" as a solution, but I was not interested in purchasing anything from them again after my initial experience.

I have been trying to get in touch with them to request a refund, but they have not returned any of my phone calls. This has been a frustrating and disappointing experience overall. I would not recommend Discount Electronics to anyone looking for reliable and trustworthy products.

In my opinion, they are the worst company I have ever dealt with. Their lack of customer service and unwillingness to resolve the issue has left me feeling cheated and taken advantage of. I strongly advise others to stay away from these charlatans and find a more reputable and reliable company to do business with.

Discount Electronics Disappointing Experience with Discount Electronics: Outdated Computer and Faulty Refurbished Laptop

I recently ordered a computer from Discount Electronics and boy was I disappointed. The computer was complete unusable and outdated. It cost me a whopping $45 plus a 15% restocking charge just to receive store credit. I was hoping to use that credit towards a better purchase, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case.

I decided to use the store credit to purchase a refurbished laptop. At first glance, it seemed like a good deal, but when I tried to use the second screen, it was on its side! I couldn't even view anything properly. It was frustrating to say the least.

After these experiences, I can't help but feel like this company is using its no refund policy to scam customers. It's a shame because I was really hoping to find a reliable and affordable electronics store. But it seems like Discount Electronics is not the place to go.

Discount Electronics Discount Electronics: Scam Alert - Don't Waste Your Money!

I gotta say, I'm pretty ticked off at Discount Electronics. I put in an order on a Sunday, even though they were closed, and then I changed my mind and cancelled it within an hour. But for some reason, they went ahead and shipped it out anyway! I had to get them to stop the shipment, but even though I never got the order, they won't give me my money back. It's a total rip-off! Don't even bother with these guys, they're a total scam.

Discount Electronics Disappointing Experience with Discount Electronics: Unreliable Products and Poor Customer Service

I recently made my first purchase from Discount Electronics and unfortunately, it was not a pleasant experience. I ordered a couple of monitors, but one of them didn't work and was not as advertised on their website. I was disappointed, but decided to give them another chance and ordered another pair. Unfortunately, one of those monitors also didn't work and to make matters worse, the speaker I ordered was missing a power cord.

It was clear to me that Discount Electronics did not seem to know their products well or test any of them before shipping them out. This was frustrating and made me question the quality of their products. I reached out to their customer service team to try and resolve the issue, but their refund process was off and they did not refund me the correct amount.

Overall, I would not recommend buying anything from Discount Electronics. My experience was not a good one and I would give them 0 stars if possible. It's important to do your research and find a reliable and trustworthy retailer when making purchases online.

Discount Electronics Disappointing Website Experience at Discount Electronics

Wanted to buy a monitor from Discount Electronics, but it was a real struggle to sign up for their website. Once I finally got in, I had a hard time checking out when I found the monitor I wanted. Their website isn't the easiest to navigate, which made the whole process frustrating. I eventually gave up and decided to cancel my account and unsubscribe from their emails about their deals.

Instead, I ended up ordering a refurbished monitor from Newegg.com. It turned out to be a good decision because with the free shipping, I actually paid less than I would have at Discount Electronics. Overall, I was disappointed with my experience on their website, but I'm happy with the monitor I ended up getting from a different retailer.

Discount Electronics Terrible Quality and Customer Service: My Experience with Discount Electronics

I bought a refurbished product from Discount Electronics and I was not happy with the quality. After using it for only two days, it broke down and I was told that they could not replace it or pay for the shipping for me to send it back. This is really bad business and it left me feeling very disappointed. It would have been cheaper for me to throw out the monitor than to return it. I strongly advise against ordering from this place and suggest that you look for other websites to buy from. They should be reported and shut down for their poor customer service.

I was really excited to receive my product from Discount Electronics, but unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. I understand that it was a refurbished item, but I did not expect it to break down so quickly. When I contacted their customer service, they were not helpful at all. They refused to replace the item or pay for the shipping for me to send it back. This is not how a business should treat its customers.

I would not recommend buying from Discount Electronics. They do not stand behind their products and their customer service is terrible. It is a waste of money to buy from them and you will only end up disappointed. I suggest that you look for other websites to buy from that have better customer service and stand behind their products.

In conclusion, I had a very bad experience with Discount Electronics. Their product was of poor quality and their customer service was terrible. I would not recommend buying from them and suggest that you look for other websites to buy from. They should be reported and shut down for their poor business practices.

Discount Electronics Terrible Experience with Discount Electronics: Outdated Products and Unfair Fees

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Discount Electronics. I recently purchased a computer set from their website, but unfortunately, it arrived without the necessary cord. After ordering the cord separately, I found that the computer was running incredibly slow and was unable to update to the latest version of Windows, Windows 11.

I decided to exchange the computer for a different one, but was charged both a shipping fee and a restocking fee. Unfortunately, the replacement computer was also slow and I had to return it, once again paying for shipping and restocking fees. The only compensation I received was store credit, which I found to be extremely frustrating.

To make matters worse, I then decided to purchase an iPad from Discount Electronics, but found that it was an older model and unable to update to the latest software. I am now stuck with a device that is outdated and unusable.

I am at a loss as to what to do next. Should I keep the iPad and accept my losses, or return it and once again pay for shipping and restocking fees? I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience at Discount Electronics and do not plan on purchasing anything from them again.

In my opinion, this company is a scam and I would not recommend it to anyone. My hard-earned money is being wasted on products that are not worth the price. I urge others to avoid Discount Electronics at all costs.

I purchased a Dell Chromebook Model# *** from Discount Electronics Order No. ***. This is the only Dell Chromebook that you cannot put Google Apps on which makes it useless to me. Also the track pad is defective. If I had known that I would have never bought it. I'm sending it back and they want to charge me a 15% restock charge, plus shipping, and no cash refund. They only offer a store credit for whatever you have left. I can't use the store credit as that is the only Chromebook that they have. So I am requesting a full cash refund.

I placed an order for a motherboard on 2/15. The weather turned bad and items were delayed. The location was back open on 2/22 and the item was finally shipped on 2/24 (per their site, orders by 3p would be shipped that day). It is now 3/1 and I am still waiting one the item and the shipping info still shows item sitting in Austin, TX. It would have been faster to drive from my location (Indiana) to Austin, TX, pickup the item, and drive home. Weather delays are fine, but, this is ridiculous. I get no response or update from DiscountElectronics. The website is not updated with order info properly and there is no feedback spot (which is understandable if this is how they typically do business)

I bought a refurbished laptop from the company but they sent me a defective item. They would not respond to my voicemail messages, and finally responded to my email days later asking what I wanted them to do. I responded I wanted to initiate a return then explained my displeasure with their product and poor service response. They are offering me a minus 15% store credit which I find unsatisfactory considering their customer response and record.

My father-in-law purchased a computer from this company on June 11. He was not able to get it working, and I could not get up there until this month to look at it due to Covid. He is 83 and not in good health. I could not get it working because the security key is invalid, and as a result, Windows 10 cannot be activated. I have called and sent them a certified letter. I have received no response.

On Jan 21, 2020 I purchased a refurbished PC from Discount Electronics which arrived 4 days later with tons of damage to the casing. The damage was so extensive that the case would not even open for us to updade the memory and add new hard disks. The order number was ***. The total cost of the order was $355.17. After documenting the damage in photos I had to returned the unit back to Discount Electronics and purchased another unit for $244.30 which created a CREDIT balance in our account. The replacement unit was was purchased on Jan 31st 2020. I was under the impression that a refund would be issued to my credit card on the SAME day! However, this company refuses to issue a credit and claims that we are ONLY entitled to STORE credit. This is illegal in California where we are based.

I have tried to reach them for 2 weeks. I have left multiple messages both on the phone and recently by email to Discount Electronis regarding a rebuilt laptop I ordered in April . It isn't working and was suppose to have come with built in webcam and did not. I am unable to use it and requested to have it fixed or returned for refund. Yesterday I filed a complaint with them and finally got a response telling me they had attempted twice to call but were cut off, I had my phone checked and it works fine. I left them both my home and cell phone number so that excuse doesn't fly! I told them the same in a return email. I then received an email from Mr. *** that I would get a call from a technician THIS MORNING. It is now 12:28 and no call. So I called another Discount Electronics number and spoke with *** who assured me a tech would return my call directly, no return call. O need a working computer to complete my job! What do I have to do? I would return the product for refund and be done with them if I could get them to advise me on shipping and return requirements.

It said I could return it in warranty I assumed that was a refund since it's under a year warranty. They offered store credit but I dont need another laptop right now. The laptop has dings and problems they didnt put in the description either.

Discount Electronics Advertised was a Dell Optiplex 3240 all in one desktop with built in web cam, and touch screen option

Advertised was a Dell Optiplex 3240 all in one desktop with built in web cam, and touch screen option. Recieved the system, there NO webcam at all, this is NOT touch screen optional. Called was directed to email "***" who refuses to tell me his title. Offered $30.00 back to purchase a web cam on my own, or to ship the system back...for what? I do not know as he explained NOTHING about what happens if i ship it back. In 4 emails the man could not even humble himself to apologize, did state it was an inaccurate web description they put up. I have looked for a webcam in this $30.00 range and have not found any, so what to do with this option? Not reasonable. It is my contention that they used false advertising and now refuse to offer what i purchased. They should be ashamed, luring people in with fake ads then not holding up their end of the deal. I want what was offered! This is not a reasonable request or expectation.

Recieved a 1-day Sale event email from Discount Electronics on Thursday 2/11 @4p, for a bare bones CPU (w/Win10) starting @$150.. I consulted with friends on the specific build details necessary to do online classes and remote work from the desktop that I was trying to cobble together. I customized the CPU tower to the tune of $294.87, and realized that I wouldn't be able to do a curbside pickup because they're NOT in NY, I tentatively placed the order. Had a few questions about my pre-owned Dell accessories fitting properly, add a monitor?.. Rang the customer service dept. number given with my ORDER#***, *** to no avail/no answer. No big deal, I'll ring Friday morning before the CPU "ships [protected]@3p". Rang @11:30a Friday, no answer. There are 9emails (mostly mine), of queries, callbacks and TRACKING NUMBER requests. Rang Saturday morning, AGAIN NO ANSWER but the payment posted. Sent *** another email, now I'm nervous, really want a full REFUND. Email 2:30a CANCELED ORD

Discount Electronics I purchased a refurbished computer, with various upgrades

I purchased a refurbished computer, with various upgrades. It arrived without the speakers but was remedied in a reasonable time. It came with one single page of instruction to activate Windows 10 and nothing else. After contacting them about the 1 yr antivirus then told me to look for a label/sticker on the the mainframe after a few days. I try to install it and it won't work, i get mad now... it won't work at all. I believed it was supposed to be installed prior to shipping, just like windows 10. After multiple attempts and talking with customer support from *** (who also refused to refund me) i thought it was installed, only to find out it was a 30 day trial and not the 1 yr I paid for. Now neither will give me a refund blaming the other but I still have no security while waiting for someone to help. Discount Electronics is a horrible company, there were no instructions to set up anything, the wi-fi, bluetooth, hooking up monitor or even how to put it together. I still can't get the bluetooth or dvd to work !

Discount Electronics OK I bought a *** (***) Projector, order #*** from discount electronics website

OK I bought a *** (***) Projector, order #*** from discount electronics website. Before purchasing, I call and talk to sales person and he told me it was only been used for 2 hours of operation. The projector was used. Paid plus shipping for $1596.83 on March 16. Received item on 3/22. Turn it on, less then 10 mins, the projector is dead, no fan noise, no laser light. The bulb and temperature warning sign in red is flashing. So basically it's a dead projector. Contact discount electronics and want a full refund plus return. They said "no" only store credits or replacement. I do not want store credit or replacement projector. The first one is dead, I do not trust their products, and want a full refund. I do not want to buy anything from them as it too might be dead on arrival, or worst dead after the warranty period is over. This is a bad business practices, as it's to trap a potential buyers, and send them bad products and do a store credits to keep buying from them. It's a cycle of bad practice. Please, please refund me in full. The store credit or replacement will not do any good. False advertisement and victimizing customers. If it were to be replaced, and after it broke after warranty period, I'm out of luck and $1596.83. I just want a full refund.

I was not given 1) Merchandise as ordered and 2) Merchandise was delivered with shotty workmanship with the laptop ("item" herein) - As per Discount Electronics' return policy, I notified the merchant via email regarding the screen being wobbly, moving back and forth. This is not a result of a delivery damage, this is a result of a dealer giving faulty product. This was the first flaw I noticed before even turning on the computer. I was told by the merchant that I would be responsible for shipping costs to return in addition to a $15 or 15% restocking fee (whichever is cheaper). The item was shipped back via UPS (as per merchant's directions) the same day it was received (05/22) . I have video of the unboxing and faulty screen. In addition to getting a faulty screen, the specs of the computer are Windows 7 when a Windows 10 was ordered. I was charged $435.63 for a product that was unusable. I will accept the shipping costs incurred by myself from UPS to send merchandise back (tracking number ***), the initial cost to send the item to me, and the and the $15 restocking fee (as 15% is greater). I am out money from this merchant and am not asking for reimbursement for my costs to ship nor the $15 for the merchant to restock their item, but I am asking for a complete return, as i was shipped a faulty product
