How many times do you have to read - DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH BUY BACK BOSS. Time after time owners report once the phone is received by buy back boss, they downgrade the value of the phone and will send you less than promised, My iphone was like new with a screen protector and case on since day one. I learn from buy back boss there was a scratch on the case of the phone I asked for pictures of this. Never heard back from them. This is their standard operating procedure to lower the price they will pay you. I wrote to the CEO never heard back from him. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. THEY ARE LIARS AND CHEATERS. Whatever they respond to this complaint, It it not true. Stay away from buy back boss.

This compan offers the highest buyback quote online but once they have your phone the purchasse plummets. I was quoted $177 for a brand new *** Note 9, once they received the phone (in the original box with all paperwork and chargers -- preserved in a ziplock bag perfectly) they offered me $45. I asked them to return the phone, and they increased the buyback offer to $55. I did not accept the offer and received my phone back in a form pad without the original box or peripherals. Totally eroding my own ability to resell the phone. It was explained this is in their Q&As and I should have known not to send the original box. This process was a collossal waste of time and misrepresentation starting with the original quote.

I was very please with my experience with selling our old iPhone's to Buyback Boss. I read a lot of reviews including some that said they were low-balled after sending in the phones. In our case, they did lower the condition from Mint ($39) to Good ($34) for our iPhone 6 that we sold them (we sold 3 after upgrading to iPhone 12's). As I read the description I thought they should ***, but they said there was a little wear at the edges where our Otterbox Defenders clipped onto the sides of the phones. But still we got a good price. One outlet I looked at prior to finding Buyback Boss was only going to give us $16 a phone. So $34 a phone, plus a $10 bonus, I was very pleased with. And they kept in contact with me thru the whole process, quick turnaround.

Sent in a Samsung S8 and S9. Both in perfect working condition and not a scratch on them. My estimate was $90 for the S8 and $160 for the S9. (Which I thought was fair.) Just got a message from them stating that the fingerprint sensor on the S8 was not working. So that classified it as "broken" and it's now worth $3! They stated that the S9 had a "ghost image" and that reduced the value to $30! These phones were fully charged and in perfect working condition when I sent them out! I used very heavy duty packaging and bubble wrap. The phones were also in their original boxes. I want my phones back and they better not be damaged! Just sorry I didn't read the reviews before sending them in. Grrrrrr. Extremely disappointed customer! If I could give 0 stars, I would. DO NOT USE THEM!

I planned to sell an iPhone I got a quote for. It was a decent amount, so I sent it in. When they got it, it was a tremendous bait and switch and they offered me 70% less than they quoted. I told them to send it back. They said as a one time courtesy they would offer me an extra $4, for $43: total on a fully functional minimal wear 256 G iPhone 8, you're funny. I said send it back. They sent it back poorly packed, kept the box, charger and cord. They bury that in a ***. I looked on their site before I sent it at the state in the *** what happens isn't I don't want to accept a lower require, they simply say it's no problem they will ship it back free. They should have disclosed that in that section and also stated that when they emailed me about sending it back. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! They are very shady!

I was able to get some money for my Iphone 6. It is easy to do business with BuyBackBoss. You check off the features and condition of your phone and they give you a mailing label to use at the Post Office to mail your product. They know when you've sent it and you get an email confirmation that the item has been mailed. Then they evaluate product and tell you the actual price you will get via PayPal...assuming you agree. I don't know what happens if you don't agree to the price, but I was happy to have my phone being used and I got a little money for it (less than was estimated when I filled out form). Anyhow, I was happy with the end of this. The payment for my phone was made via PayPal. I also sent the case and screen protector on the phone but got no compensation for those items. Oh well...better than collecting dust in my drawer.

My initial contact was with ***. He asked about the condition of our phones (we had two); the storage capacity & if the original chargers and cables were in the boxes (they were). I replied that they have been in supcase unicorn beetle pro cases from the outset along with German glass screen protectors; the offer was acceptable and they sent a pre-paid mailing label. My next contact was with *** and apparently she is the primary point of contact; *** was filling in; ***'s reply to my questions were immediate; lastly in the box i put a note asking for confirmation upon receipt of the package which they did. Yesterday I received an email from *** / Operations Specialist who confirmed that the phones were as I described & they were honoring their quote "Your payment will be sent out today!" We have not received the check yet but when we do I will update this review. Overall a positive experience, so far.

I will be the first to admit I was VERY nervous doing this type of transaction. I mean- how can you guarantee it isn't a scam? Well- we decided to take the plunge vs trying to sell to someone on Facebook marketplace or even Craigslist and having a possibly worse experience. I am simply amazed! We sent in our phones on December 30th- and BuyBackBoss was excellent with their communication and keeping me in the loop. It takes a few days once the tracking says it's received before they actually start processing it in their warehouse. Not only did we get what we expected BUT Kiara from BuyBackBoss emailed us and let us know that they were giving us MORE than we expected because one of our phones was factory unlocked! Now THAT is honesty and SO refreshing! We got our money today (13 days after mailing our phones). If you're on the fence- JUMP IN- these guys are great and they WILL beat any other offer just by emailing them!

I sent in my iphone 8 which was in mint condition, the web said they offered $133 for it. I took the sim card out reset the phone and put it in bubble rap then shipped it at the time of shipping the phone was in perfect condition So i was suprised when i got back an offer for $49 stating the the sim tray was damaged I told them i know for a fact that it was in excellent condition and order working They sent me a picture and apparently they broke the tip of the tray by the hole to try to justify a low ball offer I demanded it sent back to me Then they offer me $60 to avoid shipping costBut now i wanted the phone back just on the basic principal that they were tryn to play me I finally got it back I purchased a new sim tray for $5 from amazon and sold it to a friend for $100 just to clean my hands of it and the situation So i the end this was a learning experience -thus this company is shady -dont be a sucker - and ur bretter off selling it, trading it, giving it to someone or just keeping it God sees all we do and in the end it all will be made clear

I DO NOT RECOMMEND!I shopped the sites and chose BuyBackBoss based on the offer they quoted. I received an email many days later that the value was drastically reduced. I reshopped based on the condition they graded it and sent the link as they asked me to so they could match it. I even contacted the other company to ensure I was giving an accurate description of my Iphone 7 - 128GB. Their issue was the battery life - 78%. The competition did not devalue the phone unless it was below 50%. They responded after I did exactly as they asked and was denied based on their explanation of: "Unfortunately, their standards are different than ours, so since we do deduct for poor batteries (anything below 80% according to Apple standards) we are not able to match to their "Good" pricing."Why have a guarantee of price matching if you are going to change your policy in mid transaction? I checked their site for the conditions of the price match and could not find any "qualifiers" concerning who they will match.What a waste of time and aggravation. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

WOW! Great reviews and I was sold. After receiving my a message from [protected]@buybackboss that my 2 I Phones and accessories (All original, 2 chargers, 2 cords, 2 sets of earbuds) I was told to expect a few days to process. Got it. A few days later I received a message that said my I Phone 7+ 128GB was "broken" because it had a replacement screen installed and instead of being valued at $120 they would offer me $20. Eldin mentioned something to the effect " the replacement screen caused pixel color variances" that apparently a normal user like me just didn't notice,,, I was a bit upset over the price drop for what appeared to me to be a normal replacement screen and I told the "no deal" and to return them. Upon receipt of the phones I noticed NONE of the accessories I had sent were included. I wrote Elden about this and received a response of "Any accessories sent with the device are recycled responsibly upon receipt of the order. This detail can be found on our FAQ page found here" WOW so now to attempt to sell these to another vender I have to come up with 2 ea, chargers, cords, and earbuds

The customer service is spot on! So many business lack that these days. I had an issue with iphoneX - the battery swelled up and seperated the face from the phone. I took it into an Apple store and they basically told me that it could cost me a significant amount to fix it. I could not be without a phone as that is my business. I purchased a new phone and decided that it was just easier to trade it in or sell it. Well Apple would not take it as a trade because of the damage. I searched online and came across this company. I thought the amount they offered was reasonable compared to other companies so I submitted my "claim". I immediately got an email from *** thanking me for my business and offering to send me the box and label needed to return the phone. I accepted. within a couple of days I had received the box in the mail with the label - their *** team followed up to ensure that I had in fact received the packaging. I packaged up my phone and mailed it off the next day. 2 days later I get an email from them telling me that they received the device and not only that but it was exactly as described - HOWEVER, the condition was better than anticipated so they were going to be paying me MORE. That was unexpected and they probably could have just pocketed the extra amount instead of increase the offer that they already extended. That goes a long way with me and the *** has been fantastic. I Appreciate a business like that.

Your company exceeded any expectations I may have had. I was actually really skeptical going into this since I have read many negative reviews about past experiences from other customers through other companies. Everything I had read was a customer would get a quote for a certain dollar amount that A company would promise to pay them for their phone usually a decent number to get them to send in there phone but once the company received the phone everything would change so I was not too optimistic but I thought I would give it a try. I am really grateful I did. from the very minute I committed to using you guys and filling out the questionnaire I had somebody with me every step of the way. Your customer service is top notch I did not have to worry about whether or not I could get my questions answered as a matter fact your team would contact me regularly throughout the process to make sure I was satisfied I have never been treated this good before. And not only did you keep your word on the initial quote you gave me You actually decided that my phone was in better shape than I had described so Im going to get a few extra dollars because of that. This is Absolutely unheard of this is the way business should be done. Every other similar company needs to take notes and do business like you do. I am extremely satisfied and I will definitely do business with you in the future I will also tell all my friends to use your company.

Would 100% do business again with BuyBackBoss! Here's my story: After doing my due diligence, I chose to go with BuyBackBoss despite some bad reviews because they pay out the most money. My wife's iPhone XS inexplicably put itself into a boot loop when she restarted because her face ID wasn't working for her bank app. The phone would not reset itself when hooked up to iTunes nor at the apple store. We did not have insurance with the provider (which we though we did) so I shipped a "BROKEN" phone to BuyBackBoss. It took 6 days for the phone to arrive at its destination (truth be told, I was getting a little nervous). And a couple days later I receive an email from Anne C. at BuyBackBoss who, by the way, is fabulous, patient, and polite. She let me know that the phone was still locked to an iCloud account and that if I didn't remove the lock, then the payout would be half of what I was expecting, and sent me instructions on how to remove the iCloud lock. She was quickly able to verify that the phone was no longer attached to an iCloud account and said everything is processed and that a payment will be sent out within a day. Now, red flags start popping up in my head! Were they able to reboot my phone? How did they check to see if the phone was still locked? Did they get my phone to work and now they're only sending me money for a "Broken" phone? I emailed back asking if they were able to boot the phone, requested the results on the condition of my phone before a payment would be sent. The very next day, I received a response saying they were unable to factory reset the phone and that they check if a device is account locked with its IMEI. The check arrived within a couple days. On top of proving all my skepticism wrong because I really thought they were trying to pull one on me, they extended the price lock guarantee (the amount I was quoted for) even though I would be sending the phone in past the 14 day price guarantee. The family and I were on a self imposed 14 day quarantine when my daughter ran a mild fever. Their responses have been quick, their service has been commendable, and their word has been kept. I would 100% do business with them again and would recommend them to my friends.

In late August 2023, I received an online offer of $672 for an iPhone 13 Pro Max. With the exception of a small (less than 1/2”) scratch on the screen, the phone was pristine! 98% battery life. Was barely used before the owner died. Once they got the phone (shipped in the original box- perfect condition), I received an offer of $404! They called the condition “fair”. Are you kidding me?

I would never recommend this company. They are just stealing from people.

Buybackboss advertises that once they receive your phone a check will be mailed out same day. They received two phones for me on January 15. An iPhone 11 and a *** S 20. They have not sent me a check and they have not responded to any of my request for an update. At this point I have to assume this company is a scam
