2017 Chevrolet Malibu Premier Vin# 1G1ZH5SX2HF216425

On 9/28/2022 I brought the above vehicle to Brookdale Chevy as it has developed Engine Power Reduced check engine light. This is an ongoing issue as of last year in August. I have taken it back to Brookdale Chevrolet as of 9/28 and they told me it’s regarding my oil pressure which was fixed last year costing $500. The light came back on within 30 days causing me to bring the car back and they told me it was good to go. Since then, it continues to happen off and on. I do have the chevy app that you can see how many times it accrues. The fault about which I originally complained is still present, but I am now told that it’s the same issue when I informed them this is what I was told last year they begin to say it’s 2 gaskets that have a leak. I’m convinced at this point their telling me anything. An somehow I have to cover the cost of which I feel is a GM problem. I believe it to be the throttle body control and accelerator pedal issue. The engine reduce light and check engine light continues to come on causing my car to lose speed while driving. you'll keeps telling me it’s an oil pressure issue now their saying it may be an oil gasket. At this point I feel like there is a lot of complaints of the same issue. I'm hoping someone can investigate this further as it's costly and seems to be a GM issue. I have issued my complaint last year and now this year to NHTSA. I see there was a lawsuit GM class action over Chevy Malibu defect dismissed - Top Class Actions and also several complaints about the same issue. I would hate for someone to get killed in the process of GM figuring out if it’s a defect or the consumers problem. There may be some confusion between you and the dealer on this point but now I have brought the problem to your attention I look forward to a prompt and effective repair under the cost of GM or the dealer.

Yours sincerely
