I used Book Vine Press, 2516 Highland Drive, Palatine, Il. 60067 to Publish my book "THE WILL TO LIVE IN HIM" I wrote in 20021. In June 2022 I was called and informed that my Royalty of $89.68 for October 2021 to May 2022 is ready and will be put in the mail; the call was also to verify my address. Despite my weekly calls, to date I have not received the check; all I am hearing from them is promises that the check will be mailed out.
Desired outcome: I would like an apology and my check immediately

I was solicited by representative Jacob Perez of BOOKVINE PRESS approximately a year ago to promote my book and refine same for a $950.00 fee, i sent the manuscript plus fee.
Each time Bookvine Press sent back their version of my manuscript it was unrecognizable, gaps, floating fonts and pages, double entries. Revisions after revisions, never a format completion. Bookvine press lead me on and on for a year. Evidently avoiding the time-line on charge backs.
I truly realized it was a scam when the representative kept baiting me to purchase other promotions even though we had no live manuscript, so i have been scammed on a legal platform. I have yet to receive the original manuscript completed for press ...AUTHORS BEWARE!
I have yet to receive my payment either and their phones are now disconnected. Think they are out of business and we are just screwed
I published with Book Vine Press in 2022 and then communication stopped on their end. They are still publishing my book, Quiet. Fear. and I have not received one invoice or royalty and it's now 2024. I believe that is theft, which Ingram and Amazon say in their legal papers will not be tolerated and the publisher will be immediately removed for fraudulent, unethical behavior. Section 4 article 2, if my memory is correct. Can anyone out there help us authors who are being treated so poorly by this company? I spend money for marketing and because they are still selling my book, they reap some of the profits, which they keep. Who is the watch dog in this form of business? How can I reach someone who is still with them? Please, please pull your version of my book off of Amazon and please please stop printing it. Emotionally, it is very damaging, it's traumatizing to know and not be able to work with the other party.
