Avax/BTC margin postion liquidation that occured on 27 of May 2025 (@ 7:00 AM UTC)
The case I will be presenting for your kind attention involves an irregular liquidation of a margin trade position of mine which only includes the information that has been provided to me before and after the liquidation.
BEFORE THE LIQUIDATION
-Due to a close call on a irregular candle wick on an earlier margin position the following contacts took place between the Bitfinex support team and I, which resulted in assuring me that any few second candle wick may not result in position liquidations due to the fact that they use average prices for their chart pricing.

AFTER THE LIQUIDATION, The following exchanges were made between the Bitfinex support and I;
There are several conflicting matters within the above correspondence’s that are as follows;
Attached Exhibit B dated 27/5/25 (Bitfinex Ticket 421081): I was told my liquidation candle had lasted over a minutes and the liquidation was technically correct, eventhough in the same email they CONFIRM their system protects Margin positions against mometary (few second) price fluctutions.
Attached Exhibit C: Picture of the Bitfinex candle on the one minute time frame which implies the candle lasted for a shorted time period of a minute.
Attached Exhibit D dated 11/6 /25 (Bitfinex Ticket 421081) I was provided with trade logs of my liquidation which clearly shows the liquidation wick ONLY last for one second taking the price from 0.00020262 to 0.00011477 all at 7:02:27 ! Which means that all the liquidity on this trading pair disappeared for that second allowing for my position’s liquidation if it was a technical glitch.
Through all my correspondences with the Bitfinex support team I asked to be put in touch with higher management to be able to present my case, yet my request was completely ignored other one single time being told that they are the only point of contact in regard to my situation.
To provide better clarity in terms of my interactions with Bitfinex, I also mentioned to the support team that within 2024/25 I have paid their site well over 100,000$ just in trading fees and could not understand the supports team in rejecting my claim at every chance and not having any consideration to want to continue having me as a trader, especially due to such an irregular event to be presented to their management for reconsideration.
Claimed loss: 10,000 USD
Desired outcome: I would like my account to be refunded, please.
