Received a Biostrap unit in December 2019
Received a Biostrap unit in December 2019. Manufacturer claimed battery was adequate for full tracking of daily activities and sleep. Battery never reached manufacturers claimed life but I kept the unit and used only for very reduced hours per day (sleep only). Over the months, battery progressively lost ability to maintain a charge until it could only last enough to track a night of sleep. Suddenly the battery can not function even to track 7 hours of sleep. Manufacturer was aware of battery durability issues at the time that this unit was sold to me and should have halted sales until this design defect was corrected. I reported this to manufacturer on Feb 8, 2021 requesting a solution. Customer support offered to sell me a new unit at 20% discount. That was not acceptable to me and I sent emails and hard copy to founder *** requesting reconsideration. That person has not responded. Company is not transparent with consumers and marketing claims may be exaggerated.
