I purchased in December 2006 and paid for by credit card 2 subscriptions which I have yet to receive, and it is the eve of June 2007. I have sent e-mails to their "customer service" address to which I have received no response. The local prosecutor in whatever state this company is located should go after it for fraud.

I purchased a subscription February 6, 2007. It was paid for with a credit card. As of August 23, 2007 I have never received the magazine. I have emailed the company at the following email addresses - support@BestChoiceMags.com and BestChoiceMags.com. My internet system said the emails could not be delivered.

I ordered 2 subscriptions. when they didn't show up I tried emailing them because there was no other way of contacting them. I never got a response from them. luckily, the credit card charges never went through, somehow they failed. just today I decided to look into again and it looks like they have been canned. Thank g-d, seemed legit. This is the first time i have ever been wronged by an internet company!

I ordered a year-long subscription to the New Yorker in December. It is now August, and despite several attempts to contact this company, I have yet to receive an issue, though I was absolutely charged the money immediately. This is the most blatant scam I have ever fallen for. I've learned my lesson. What a rip.

I too, ordered a magazine for a family member for the holidays. To date, my mother has not received on issue and repeated attempts to contact this company have been unsuccessful. Now I know why. Does anyone out their know what recourse we have to get our money back?

Should have ordered from Amazon and should have known this deal was too good to be true. Did I ever learn a good lesson.

Sent New Yorker mag. to my son for Christmas present --charged in nov. When I complained in Feb that he had not received it, they said they has misquoted and it would be an additional $10.00 which i FOOLISHLY authorized. I have not been able to contact them and this business is obviously a scam. Glad to know I am not the only idiot out there. It has now been 6 months.

Best Choice Magazines is a scam. The dude has tried for years to fly under the radar by charging 50 to 70% of market rates and then pushing the credit card charges through, knowing full well that most people will shrug off a few mis-spent bucks.

Well, the dude's time is up as the complaints are now poring in. Sweet justice, dude. This is what you get, when you mess with us.

I ordered two magazines on December 13, 2006 at bestchoicemags.com and never got them. I called American Express and they reversed the charges. I also contacted BBB. This week I got two email subscription renewal notices from Best Choice Magazines alerting me that I had 176 days left before my subscription ends and I should renew so I don't miss out on getting my magazines in a timely manner. What a joke! How insulting is that? Do they really think I would ever do business with them again! Oh, they can certainly keep track of magazine renewals but they can't keep track of the missing magazine once they have ripped you off of your hard earned money. You can't contact them period! Stay away from this company.

Bestchoicemags.com is an absolute scam! Jack Coleman - SCAM, SCAM SCAM! Bestchoicemags.com has taken my money and run! After repeated attempts to contact Jack Coleman whose name is listed as the owner of the website, I have received no reply. Thus, it's my belief that Bestchoicemags.com is an absolute scam! Bestchoicemags.com took money from my credit card on December 14, 2006 and I have received no magazine or response in over 6 months!

Ordered 4 magazines from this website (http://bestchoicemags.com/index.asp) and was charged within 1 week for them. Never have received any magazines, never any confirmation of the order. I have attempted several times to contact via e-mail and never received any reply. Web site has no phone number listed. Has been over 3 months since the order was placed.

I ordered a magazine from this company in December (Seventeen Magazine) I called and Seventeen states they never received the order. There is no telephone # to contact this company.

Similar to others: Ordered a magazine, charged for it and never delivered. The only things I receive are renewal requests. And, the company's non-responsive to emails.

In Dec17,2006 Placed subscription to NEW YORKER mag and paid with credit card; got an order no. etc but never heard another word. These are scam artists. Stay away!

I purchased a subscription to the New Yorker Magazine on their web site on 11/1/06 and here it is May of 2007 and no magazine. These people are a bunch of con artists and rip off merchants. DO NOT BE FOOLED get your magazine subscriptions somewhere else

Im sorry to hear everyone is having issues with Best Choice Magazines. Last year I ordered 4 subscriptions on 2 different occasions. The subscriptions came about 8 weeks later, but they did arrive. It looks like the service took a big dive from the service before! They were so cheap, no wonder why they didnt last too long.

I made a purchase in january at the best buy in lancaster ohio. During the transaction the clerk told me that i would receive a free copy of sports illustrated. Several weeks later i received a copy of sports illustrated in the mail. A couple of weeks later i received another sports illustrated in the mail. I did not question it simply because, i never subscibed to it nor did best buy charge me for it. Here it is two months later and i check my bank account and see that sports illustrated has debited my account. I wrote to best buy customer service and they reccomended that i contact the store. I returned to the store only to be insulted and sent off by the manager telling me i would have to take it up with someone else. I did some checking online and found that many people also had the same complaint, in fact i see where there is a class action lawsuit being filed in california for this very same thing against best buy. It has cost me $25. Not a lot of money but enough to aggrivate me by being taken in by such an underhanded dealing. I doubt if i have any recorse here but i would like this practice to be exposed and wonder just how many other consumers have been taken in. I would be more than glad to speak to anyone about this and perhaps go into more detail. I intend to send this letter or complaint out to anyone who wants to listen and hopefully jump in and expose this type of dealings. Thank you for your time... Bill

YOU CAN GET YOUR MONEY BACK ------ IF YOU PAID BY CREDIT CARD YOU CAN CONTACT THE CREDIT CARD COMPANY AND DISPUTE THE CHARGE.

ALSO IN CHECKING WITH MY CREDIT CARD - THE CHARGE WENT THROUGH AS

WE SELL MAGAZINES - PHONE NUMBER [protected]

I CALLED AND IT WENT TO AN AUTOMATED PHONE MESSAGE.

MAYBE WE CAN FIND OUT WHO OWNES THIS WE WELL MAGAZINES

I ordered a two year subscription to the Handyman magazine as a Christmas gift to my husband on 12/14/06. I have written emails - letters and have received nothing. Is there anything that we can do to get our money back?

I believe we should take action to report this to the to the Attorney General in the state they operate from and seek reimbursement or the magazine immediately.

I also have not received order from 2/07.

Ordered a subscription 7/23/07. Gave my credit card number. The magazine publisher never received the renewal information. Cannot reach Best Choice mags.com. Just a waste of money. The company is a front for theft.

I am also in the same boat. I ordered 2 magazine subscriptions in january 2007 and paid with credit card. I never received the magazines. Also, I have contacted their customer service via email and have received no response in two weeks.

I too made a payment for a subscription in January and it is August and I have received no magazines... something needs to be done about this. This is ridiculous that this many people have been scammed on this website and they are still getting away with this!

Is this the same company that owns HalfPricedMags.com because they are still stealing money daily from people and advertising on Google with google check out and noone is stopping them or has shut down any of their websites. This has been going on for years and nothing has happened.

Why now? I ordered over $100 in mags in 12/2006 and never received one! I did receive an email from Holly@halfpricedmags.com that there was a mistake and that I would get a refund. But no refund and no numbers to call...

Same experience as most people. Ordered two magazine subscriptions in December 2006 as a present for my husband and never received magazines. Have sent e-mails also with absolutely no response. Now it's July 2007 and imagine my surprise when I'm now receiving e-mails from the company regarding renewing my subscriptions! What worries me is they have my account information. DO NOT deal with this company. It's all a scam.

The perfect Scam.

He takes small amounts so no one figures its worth going after him. Most people wait past the 90 day time limit for filing a claim with Visa. He keeps collecting money from thousands.

How can Visa corporation allow Jack Coleman to clear money through their services? Why doesn't the New York Attorney General shut this guy down. He does business on several web sites. wesellmags.com and bestchoicemags.com

The phone numbers listed with his domain are false, he doesn't respond to email.

Shut this guy down.

I ordered a magazine from this company in November 2006. It is now June 2006. I have made several attempts to contact the company to receive a refund with no response.

I would highly recommend not doing business with Best Choice Magazines.

Best Choice Magazines is a huge rip off! Do not order anything for them, you'll never see your magazines! I ordered two magazine subscriptions from them in December as Christmas presents and have yet to see the magazines... it is now June 18! They also do not provide a phone number on their website so it's nearly impossibly to get in touch.

Could not agree more. I have contacted them threw their website many times and have never heard anything from them. ( 6 months now).

They are careful not to give a contact number to call them on. I have contacted Amex to start investigating these crooks. Sadly I think it's to late to go after the money but thanks for the tip!

I hope they suffer something horrible! -S

Best Choice Magazines is absolutely crooked. However, if you pay with a credit card, you have recourse: your company will give you a credit, investigate, and either get satisfaction from the vendor or credit your account. It pleases me to think that Best Choice I am sure would prefer not to hear from any sort of investigator.

I echo everything said here. I just wish I would have looked up any complaints for this company PRIOR to making my order. I have been on them for 5 months now and have not received a single response to my 50+ emails. I finally sent in a complaint to BBB. DO NOT USE bestchoicemags.com! THEY ARE SCAMMERS!

You can add me to the list. I ordered two years of New York magazine from Best Choice on January 18th and have yet to receive anything. I echo everything said above. Let's shut down these thieves! I buy a lot on the Internet and this is the only time I've been ripped off.
