i ordered some Berkey filters from berkeyfilters.com and was super excited to get them. but then UPS messed up and my package got lost. i reached out to berkeyfilters.com for help, but they were no help at all. they basically told me tough luck and that it wasn't their problem. i was really disappointed in their customer service and will definitely be getting my Berkey supplies from somewhere else in the future. it's a shame because i've heard good things about their products, but if they can't even help me with a lost package, i don't want to risk dealing with them again.

Berkeyfilters.com is a website that sells water filters. They offer a 2-year warranty on their black filters, which is pretty cool. I had a problem with my filters, they failed a test, so I needed a replacement. Unfortunately, they were out of stock when I tried to buy them from other dealers. I was pretty upset about this, so I complained to NMCL. They referred me to Berkey for a prorated replacement. I had to send my filters to them and wait for them to get back to me with the prorated price. It took a long time for them to get back to me, and I was charged 1/2 of the shipping charge (over $13) to get them to me. I don't think it's fair to gouge a customer to pay shipping when the product was defective. This is the SECOND time I've had to return defective black filters. Needless to say, I'm an unhappy customer!

I gotta say, I got myself the Big Berkey from Berkeyfilters.com like 6 months ago and it's been a game-changer. The shipping was lightning fast and the setup was a piece of cake. I did have a bit of a hiccup when I was trying to prime the filter with the priming button, but I gave their customer service a holler and they talked me through using the blue primer. Let me tell you, that made the whole process a walk in the park!

Before we got the Berkey, our tap water had a real strong smell of chlorine. But since we made the switch, that smell has gone bye-bye and the water even tastes a little sweeter. It's been a real treat for me and my fam to not have to drink that nasty tap water or shell out for bottled water anymore. I bought a travel berkey from Berkeyfilters about a month ago. I was pretty excited to try it out because I had heard so many good things about it. I decided to have my tap water tested and then test the filtered water from the Berkey. I was pretty shocked when the results came back showing that the filtered water had double the amount of aluminum as my tap water did. I mean, what's the point of a water filter if it's not going to remove harmful substances like aluminum?

To make matters worse, when I tried to contact customer service about my concerns, they either ignored me or didn't take me seriously. It's frustrating when you spend a lot of money on a product and then it doesn't work as advertised. I feel like I was sold a dream that didn't live up to its promises.

I'm out over $1,000 because I actually had my water tested at an EPA approved lab. I spent $350 per test, plus the cost of the equipment and filters. Now I'm facing almost 40% in penalties. It's a lot of money to lose, especially when you thought you were investing in a product that would improve your health and well-being.

One thing that really bothers me is that Berkeyfilters has these lab results on their website that show how well their filters work. But when you look closer, you realize that the lab they used is not EPA approved. It makes you wonder where they're getting their water from that it tests "so well."

Another thing I noticed is that there aren't many reviews of Berkeyfilters online. It's mostly just bloggers who seem to be bragging about the product, possibly because they're getting paid to promote it. But if you pay close attention to their website and Facebook page, you'll notice that there are a lot of complaints about their customer service.

Overall, I'm really disappointed with my experience with Berkeyfilters. I feel like I wasted a lot of money on a product that doesn't work as advertised. I would caution anyone who is considering buying one to do their research and make sure they're getting a product that actually works.
