I got a job at Benny's Breakfast Bar, I worked there for 3 weeks. I got my severance check but not my actual paycheck, I called and the owner and he said that it's in the mail, 34 days later and still nothing. I am missing $900+ in earnings. I never got tipped even though he said it was $3/hour. The owner is rude and was slamming stuff around, it scared me. I was thrown into the job with no training and he would get angry with me if I did something wrong. My last day there was October 8, I officially stopped working there on the 9th. I have called and he says it's mailed but I have been checking and there has been only one check, where is the other?

You worked exactly 10 days at Bennys Breakfast Bar between September 20th and October 6th. You were trained as a dishwasher on how to scrape dishes, stack dishes and how to operate the dishwasher. How much more training did you require?
You did not show up for your shift on October 7th which left us short handed for that day. You did not contact us nor did you return calls.
Your first paycheque was returned with an unknown address. Perhaps you should make sure your contact inforamtion is correct instead of spewing your lies on the internet. I am not sure what entitled world you live in but any person who works 10 days is not entitled to severance pay. You may contact Employment Standards to verify that.
