Barton Publishing, Inc review: Unauthorized charge for pills

On Feb 12 I ordered a book about diabetes as a gift for someone. I got a call from someone saying he was from Barton. I thought he called to talk about the book but I could not hear him. The connection was bad. I told him I could not hear him. He did something and said "Can you hear me now?" and I said yes. The same thing happened and I could not hear him. I told him again that I could not hear him and the same thing happened. On Feb 17 I was checking charges on my credit card and saw a charge for $607.57. I immediately sent a message to cancel the order and give me my money back. I told them I had not ordered the pills. I have tried to get a refund but they refuse. They sent me a transcript of the "call". I do not say "okay okay". I do not know whose transcript that was but it was not a transcript of any call I received. I will admit that I made a mistake when I did not hang up when I couldn't hear him. Any help you could give me in resolving this matter will be appreciated. I am 77 and on a fixed income.
