The nurse at my first emergency room vist did not drain my bladder properly, this was confirmed by 3 Urlogy Dr,s and several other nurses at the same hospital different departments. She did not follow Dr. orders, and was going to release me with a catheter installed and a pain level of 9. No antibiotics, no pain addressed, no CT scan. My daughter who is a RN nurse intervened. See the time stamps of when the pain relief was given vs time of discharge. Because of this a second ER vist was made, and a CT was given. At the urologist there was difficulty in removing the catheter, which resulted in another ER vist and a surgery same group different ER. The CT scan showed cancer in the right kidney, which results in another additional surgery. This all could be obverted if the nurse properly did her job. Because she didn't, it resulted in two additional ER visits and a surgery. I am not responsible for her mistakes. This was documented with a patient advocate which they have been making me feel dismissed. I will be only responsible for the care properly given, I did consult with my insurance company. Please adjust my bill accordingly. Thank you.
