Monthly subscription jobs service
I could not access a downloadable customizable industry-specific resume template, a product promised on the website as ostensibly available under the monthly subscription. This is a different product than their computer-generated standard resume compiled by the company from user-supplied data. Customer service did not respond to my telephone or email inquiries requesting access via a corrected link or emailed file. After I canceled my subscription, the company referred my account to collection demanding payment for multiple periods charged in advance after I deleted my card information and confirmed I no longer had access to their services through the web portal. The collection agency refused to send a demand in writing, but offered to "settle" the matter without impacting my credit if I made a phone payment for two subscription periods plus a fee,
Desired outcome: Provide the promised template I paid for and withdraw the collection action.

job search scam
I canceled my "trial" subscription after about a week and a half, at least 2 weeks before the trial had ended. I received nothing from them ever! They continued to charge me each month, even though I canceled. When I called them, they said that I never canceled and refused to refund the money that they had charged. The guy I talked to said that were getting hits on my profile, so they were going to charge me. I told them that I would just deal with my bank and dispute the charges. He said that would wind up costing me more money. After a couple of weeks, I received e-mails from them stating that my profile had been viewed. He was supposed to have canceled the "subscription" effective the date we talked on the phone. I continued to get these e-mails, so I emailed him back and once again advised them to cancel the subscription. The bank blocked him from charging my credit card further, so today I received a letter from them demanding $259.96 because the bank refused to allow him to charge more fees. These people are CROOKED and they are not legitimate...do not use!
Scam
Used this company to try and find a sales rep for my repair station. Only needed the job posted for one month. Little did I know they would be charging me $99 dollars for every additional month until you cancel the subscription. The charges went on for 4 months totaling to $400. I disputed the charges with my credit card company and the gal at Avjobs refused to refund any amount of money.
Just to add salt to the wound in the 4 months the ad was posted I received a total of 2 resumes and ended up filling the position from an ad I placed on craigslist.
Definitely not a company out to help you. Buyer beware; they are just another scam artist company.
It was a scam!
I am looking for a job locally and have submitted resume on several local job sites. I received an email from avjobs.com and they said they found my resume on a job site and wanted me for some position. It appeared to be a carrier website with fake job openings. It was a scam!
My husband submitted his cv on avjobs.com and agreed to pay for 1 month 59.9usd. The following month they charged 29.9usd without our authorization. I put this complaint on visa corp. But i doubt at getting back my money. This is a total scam!
