ArtStation had so much potential, it was on its way to being "Good/Great" or even "Fantastic," but then it stumbled upon some serious, SERIOUS issues that brought it crashing down. Reason: Now, don't get me wrong, there are definitely some good things about ArtStation. But let me tell you, the "error happened while saving the project. Status: 500" problem is a real pain in the you-know-what. It happens way too often, and it's enough to make you want to pull your hair out.

But that's not all. ArtStation also has this weird imbalance between order and freedom. Basically, they don't allow users to post any naughty stuff on the site. Unlike DeviantArt, where you can write journals and statuses to your heart's content, ArtStation wants none of that. And get this, they even restrict certain features when you upgrade to a pro status account. Talk about a buzzkill, am I right?
