Archadale Heating and Cooling LLC review: New install gone wrong voided warranty

UPDATE: This was a 5-star review — until everything broke just months later.

I hired Arcadale Heating & Cooling, LLC to install a new HVAC system. Bill, the tech, was knowledgeable and helped me design and rebuild the closet to fit the new unit. I spent a full week redoing the flooring, adding insulation, sealing gaps, and even building a new concrete pad — he complimented the work and confirmed it met all specs.

However, when the unit he brought was too large, he should have rescheduled instead of forcing it in. A few months later, the house wasn’t cooling. I opened the closet and found the top of the blower was completely disconnected from the ductwork, dumping air into the closet.

My home warranty company said the install violated their terms, but still fixed it — for a fee. Arcadale refused to acknowledge the issue, told me to call the warranty company, and ignored all further calls and emails. I submitted a $142.50 invoice for reimbursement, which they’ve also ignored.

Now, because of their poor install, I may lose warranty support permanently.

Bill may know HVAC — but Arcadale doesn’t stand behind their work, and their lack of accountability is unacceptable. Be cautious before hiring them.
