We built a house in 2005, and like others in this forum, believed Anderson to be a quality company, so when our builder ordered all the windows from Anderson, we didn't complain.
But in the years since the house was built, we have had nothing but problems with the quality of the windows that Anderson shipped us. They are 9-light casements, and within a year, the exterior trim on the windows began falling off, and the wood interior trim inserts began to warp, and now are ridiculously wobbly and don't at all match what is left of the exterior trim. In cold weather, the windowseals on some of the windows leak and ice forms on the interior of the windows.
We did manage to get a representative from Anderson out to look, and she re-glued one of the exterior trim pieces (which fell back off within a month) but could get no explanation or offer to help in any way.
We can confidently say that Anderson produces a sub-quality casement window, and can recommend anyone installing new or replacement windows go to one of the REAL quality window manufacturers instead of Anderson.

Stated that there cost would to repair sliding doors and if they cpould not repair the door there would be no charge. Well they came to the house and were not able to repair the door and charged me $132. for the man to come and see the problem.

Poor instillation, Poor quality no support from local installer THE WINDOW PLACE IN MERRIFIELD VIRGINIA. The owner will not meet, return calls or will not make correct poorly installed windows. Calk remains on window glass. Calk not utilized along the bottom of window sliding doors. Corporate HQ will not respond.
