Anderson Windows review: 16’ door

My husband and I are building a home. We live in Dripping Springs Texas. We have ordered almost every item from Home Depot for our home. Back in October of last year we ordered our doors and windows from Home Depot via Anderson window. We were patiently waiting for all of our doors and windows that were expected in March 2022 however we received them within the last 45 days.

We are still awaiting a 16 foot “completed”door. We received four out of nine boxes from Anderson this week. We were recently advised that the rest of our Order to complete the 16 foot door cannot be delivered until October 7 of 2022. This is outrageous and like dangling a carrot that we cannot have. Why would we get four piece of a door we can not install? Makes zero sense.

We can not complete our flooring, our stucco or move into our home due to this delay. If I would have known it would be a YEAR before we could get the slider, I would have went somewhere else. I have all Anderson Windows in my home so now it seems ridiculous for me to have to go find another door from another company.

Additionally, Sasha, an operations manager had zero empathy for us, did return calls as promised and giggled over the delay. We paid for this a LONG time ago and will not hear of excuses. Something must be done to get us our final five pieces.

This is a 14 thousand dollar door.
