I have no issues with the ambulance service with AMR. It bothers me that the cost of an ambulance ride's base rate is $2,860.98 and mileage cost for literally a 2-minute ride from Highland Hospital to Strong Memorial Hospital. My daughter needed to be treated at Golisano, so they transported her there. I believe the base rate for ambulance rides should be re-evaluated as the current cost places an excessive burden on taxpayers through their insurance premiums.

Desired outcome: The cost of ambulance service is too high and no one can afford it. Lower the base rate for much shorter distances.
