We have been using this company for 2 years now. Everyone is nice and friendly. A tech came out today (Alex ***) for our semi annual AC check. He was knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend this company.

Excellent service, Erik explained what he and colleague would be checking. After the checks he showed me photos and explained what needed to be done along with options and costs. The work was completed and A/C unit now operates like new.

I have been with this company for about two years and I can truly say they are reliable, skilled, professional, and trustworthy. On this occasion, I got to work with Robert ***. He was so great at his job as a technician and as a human that my dog became best friends with him. He gave me advice about a part he could quickly install at an affordable price to help with a minor issue I had. American Air and Heat is a family-owned company and I feel like that empathy and care is demonstrated by each person I get to interact with. Thank you Robert and American Air and Heat!

I went with American Air & Heat years ago and have had 2 systems installed by this company. I switched to American Air after being very disappointed with Del Air. Del Air would send out technicians who obviously were poorly trained and didn't know what they were doing. Now I feel American Air has become another Del Air. The system American Air installed in 2015 has gone down 3 times this year. In the case of every service call they send out technicians that are poorly trained. Our recent service experience the technician told my stepson he had just finished training 3 weeks prior. He was on the phone to the company's office the whole time he was here getting instruction on how to deal with our issue. In the previous service call they had to send out a system supervisor for a second visit to diagnose the problem. We have now been without AC for 2 weeks and the main office says the part the inexperienced technician says we need is back ordered for a month. I can't tell you how disappointed I am with American Air and Heat .

Diego *** did the scheduled check up of the A/C and Heat system. Very thorough, knowledgeable, considerate (wearing a mask and covering his shoes each time he went in and out). He went over all the immediate needs and other recommendations to keep my system running. I have been a customer of American Air and Heat for many years and I do recommend them.

I have used American air and heat for a number of years
I have used American air and heat for a number of years. Since I have an older unit, little parts here and there have failed, or were about to fail. While a new system would take care of these issues, not ready to give up on the old one yet. I have never felt pressured into putting in a new unit, but I do understand where they are coming from with their recommendation. I've been seeing the same tech for the last number of visits and have always had excellent service. Jesse is very thorough and always does a great job. I will continue to be a happy customer of American Air and heat.

Since day 1 of having my brand new unit installed back in 2017, I have had error free cool air in my home and never had a problem with my Lennox 4 ton unit. Naturally, one must do your part to keep the unit running properly like changing the air filter and various other routine things. But my service tech Daniel, recommends other services to keep my family cool during the explosive summer heat that Florida brings each season. These other services provided by American Air are affordable and Dan can do it all. Because of the quality materials American Air provides its customers and great routine maintenance from courteous and professional employees like Dan, it's no surprise why they continue to receive good reviews from all their customers in the central FL area. With American Air & Heat leading the way for my A/C needs, I don't have to worry about a thing. Thank you American Air and Heat...
Our heat pump went out about 2 weeks ago
Our heat pump went out about 2 weeks ago. Tech Ryan was scheduled, and reviewed the options with us; for a 17 year old unit, we decided on replacement. Todd came out, did a very thorough evaluation, and went over available systems and options, including a 0% financing offer for 36 months. We were scheduled for Thu 7/22-Fri 7/23, and given an arrival time estimate of 9a-12p. They arrived Thu @ 8:30a (early, yay! o/), and were done by 5p. Work included new heat pump pair (air handler and compressor, including a new concrete pad and hurricane straps), new refrigerant and drain lines, new thermostat, and an additional 8" of blown-in insulation (home built in 1994 with 6" insulation; code at the time, but had shrunk to 4" - added 8" to bring up to current code). ALL their employees were helpful, friendly, courteous, professional,... etc. Each took the time to answer any questions we had, including simple or rather "dumb" questions from me like: why doesn't it seem to be cooling quickly? But the new system had both the temp *andhumidity down to their set points by morning, and after I adjusted up for "daytime", it's been maintaining both so far today without issue. Not only *wouldrecommend, but *didrecommend to a neighbor whose system was also out, and noted our install.
