Bought a card to call Sri Lanka. Then and then only they mention the fact that the rate given in their add applies to just one call. If more than one call is made on this $10 card the rates are unpredictable.
This is a new twist on International calling card scams.
I tried sending an e-mail asking to cancel the deal but the email was retuned as undeliverable.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I bought $5 card, and their website claims the rate is 0.4 cents per minute to China. $5 allows over 1000 minutes talk time. My wife and I made a phone call to China about 15 minutes, and it only has $1 left in the card.
Called and emailed them a couple of days ago. So far, no response.
Stay away from this fraudulent site.
Allosmart is a scam. Hidden fees, the rates are looking good on the website but nothing like advertisement when you start using card. Customer service is unresponsive. Stay away!
the guy that is saying the nice things above is probably working for allosmart.
This is a flagrant case of bait and switch : the RATES advertised are NOTHING like the ones you actually get. About 60 % less time is really available. SAVE YOUR MONEY THIS IS A SCAM.
I totally disagree on the customer service of AloSmart. There is a Toll free number and a contact us form. I have been using them for more than 3 years now and couple time i had problems with some calling cards ( which they do not have control over) and they replaced for me.
AloSmart is my best place to by calling cards. I currently use their Pin-less Platinum Card. From my experience it is the only service out there that has no fees what so ever!
Once i used my card for 12 minutes, went back home for more than 2 month in the summer. I came back to find that i still have exactly the same amount on that card. I did not loose anything not even a penny.
