Alabama Professional Services provides great service, they are timely, have fair pricing, and a friendly staff. They always come on time and do a good job. The prices are reasonable and the staff is nice. I highly recommend them for any service you need.

Terrible company. They keep tryin to charge me for lawn care I never got. And I always had to call them to find out if and when they were comin. They didn't even do a decent job of that. Very disappointed with them.

We've been using this company for over 15 years and we're really satisfied. The folks who work for them are super nice and inquisitive. If we come across a bug, it's usually flipped over with its feet up in the air, either dying or already dead. I'd totally recommend them to anyone.

Annual termite inspection system is terrible. They send you a bill nearly 2 months before renewal date. But after 2 months has passed the renewal date, they still don't call us to schedule a termite inspection. APS asks us to pay for the service at least 4 months before they actually do. It has not only happened this year but also last year. They must change this system.

Horrible bookkeeping. My bank inadvertantly forwarded a payment to APS and they forwarded the payment to the new owners of the house and refused to send me a refund. The account manager is rude and unprofessional, and refuses to refund me my money. I spoke with a representative about the refund earlier this year, and they stated that they were going to research my refund. Now my money has been refunded to a person that I do not know. They refuse to give me my money and this is highly unacceptable.

I had 3 companies come out, look at my craw space, tell me what they would do and then give me a quote. APS was the only one that would contact their other customers that they had finished working with, and checked with them and then gave me the phone numbers of customers that said it was ok. I called them and went to look at the work that APS did, and talked to the other home owners. Everyone that I talked to was very pleased and stated that they had no complaints. I went with APs and had my crawl space encapsulation done and the mold removed. I had a couple of items that I saw after they left, and when I contacted them, they sent someone out to fix the problem. They were not big problems, but I can say that APS takes pride in their work and does what they say they are going to do. That is very hard to find a company in this day and time like that.

I had the experience today of seeing an Alabama Professional Services employee on my Ring camera for my 12:00 appointment. My Ring camera played my prerecorded message for when I am not home, and I watched him walk around the side of my house into my backyard. I was shocked as I didn't have an appointment scheduled nor recognize the company on this man's shirt, so I called the company. They confirmed that I did not have an appointment and I sent them a picture of the employee, and they identified him as one of their employees. They tried to reach him, but he did not pick up his cell phone and said they would reach back out to me. 3 hours later, I finally got a call from someone saying he was given the wrong address (by the previous homeowner), which explains the mixup. I am angry that my space was violated and the fact that the employee rang the doorbell, saw that no one was home, and then proceeded to go to my backyard without even attempting to contact someone to see if that was okay. It is unacceptable. I can't comment on their services, but given this whole experience, I would say that Alabama Professional Services is anything BUT professional.

The old owners of my house used APS for termite protection, and for the past 5 years, I was really happy with their service. I even hired them to kill the ants in my kitchen and they did a great job, didn't charge much, and the ants still haven't come back after two years. But ever since my termite contract ended in December, it's been a struggle to get APS to renew it. First, their rep, this guy named Nick, doesn't have the right contract for the protection service I want. Then he forgets about me until I call him back a month later. Then he leaves the contract in my mailbox and never comes back to pick it up, even after I reminded him twice. Both times the secretary tells me Nick is busy and will call me back, but he never does. Finally, on my day off, I just gave up and drove to their office in Irondale, which is 30 minutes away from where I live in Helena, and dropped off the contract myself. Two weeks pass and I don't hear anything from them. So I call their office again to ask when they'll treat my house, and I get the same brush-off about Nick not being in the office and promising to call me back. I told her I had enough of this runaround and wanted to know when they'd treat my house. She put me on hold for 5 minutes, then came back and said they'd be there on Monday to treat the house. It's now Friday, and no one has shown up to treat my house. I'm not sure why their customer service went from good to bad, but they're gonna lose customers if they don't fix it.

APS was supposed to fix a problem with water comin' into my foundation and level the concrete. They only leveled one third of the very small area. APS salesman never gave me any written info 'bout what they were gonna do or how they were gonna do it. He was more interested in sellin' me stuff I didn't need. I had to request a hard copy by mail. APS came out three times and only completed one third of the problem. I still have water leakin' into my foundation. The water problem is still there. APS deals mostly with pest control. The foundation repair is a third party company. I wouldn't recommend APS for a foundation issue. Don't get confused with APS and AFS. I sure did. JMHO.

I paid for a year of service with this company and they stopped coming after the second service. When I was called to find out why my lawn was not being serviced anymore, they told me that the servicer for my area was no longer with them. I asked for a refund for the remaining amount ($220) and was told it would be processed but it never came. I continued calling several times, leaving voicemails, etc. When I would get someone, I would be told the lady handling the refunds had left for the day. I would call the following day and would be told the same thing. When I finally got someone to help me, I was told my refund would be issued at the beginning of September. It's now 9/22. Still no refund. I called the business again and have been getting the same runaround. They continue saying that the person handling the refund is gone for the day.

I hired APSF to install a drainage system that didn't fix the problem of rain water coming into the garage area of an investment property. The company installed a drainage system that was supposed to prevent rain water running into the garage. However, after the first rain, there is still rain water coming into the garage. It was not installed properly by having a means to have the water run through the system and then being released where it could run away from the house. I have called and emailed the company to speak with ***, the sales rep that I initially spoke to regarding their services. He has never emailed or called me back. I emailed him on March 1, and have not received a response. I have called and left messages several times, but never received a return phone call. I paid this company $6,237 for a system that doesn't work. It appears that they don't stand behind their product.

I've been using APS for a while now and one of the services I've had trouble with is lawn care. Supposed to get it cut every 2 weeks, but it's been a whole month now. I've had billing problems before, not my fault, and they keep missing appointments to cut my lawn. This has been going on for over a year. I've been really patient, but it's not cool to not even get a phone call explaining why they're late. I pay on time when I get the invoice. I've talked to Andy L, the lawn manager, many times about this issue, but it's been over a year and still no solution or even a call to let me know about a delay. I might cancel if this doesn't get fixed.

I tried to Reactivate my Termite Bond that expired in late 2017. I filled out an online form to contact APS. I waited for about a week and then called the company. I spoke with a phone tech who transferred me to a guy named Benjamin. He said he tried texting me, even though I don't use a cell phone, and said he would get back to me. Another week went by and still no phone call, so I called again and was told someone would call me. The next day, Benjamin called and scheduled an appointment for today, March 1, at 1:00 p.m. He called and said he was running early and would arrive at 12:30 p.m. He didn't have a notepad or any equipment with him, and all he did was walk around the inside and outside of my house. I asked about the Bond and payment. He had originally quoted a price, but while walking around, he said it would be a different price. I asked him what the extra cost was for, but he didn't do anything except say he would come back to finish the work and that he needed free access through the outside gate. He left around 1:15 p.m. and never came back.

My house is under contract and the buyer contacted APS for their termite protection. That's all good and well. But here's the problem: the buyer hasn't closed or purchased my house yet, and APS went ahead anyway. They hired a darn marking company to come and mark up the lines before installing termite protection. Now, I kinda get the need to know where underground utilities are so they don't get messed up. But this ain't excavation work, according to APS. They're just drilling 3-inch holes in the ground. So now, in about 5 different spots, my concrete driveway (which, by the way, I didn't know needed termite protection) and 10 different places in my yard have all been spray-painted in a bunch of different colors. It ain't pretty, that's for sure. APS can't do anything without the owner's approval, which they didn't have. They were only approved for an inspection. The company rep that my buyer has been dealing with was real arrogant and didn't seem to care. And when confronted about the issue, they made a sarcastic and smart-alecky remark.

I hired Alabama Professional Services (APS) to deal with a bed bug problem. Their website claims that they can quickly solve bed bug issues. However, we received a quote for treatment that cost $***. When the technician arrived on June 17, 2022, at 2:00 pm, he didn't have the GSF of our home. So, I wonder how they estimated the cost. The technician texted me at 2:46 pm, claiming that the service was completed. Unfortunately, we still had pests, so I requested retreatment. On July 13th, another technician arrived at 2:53 pm and finished the treatment at 3:12 pm. On July 20th, I texted the technician to inform them that we still had bugs. Then, on July 25th, I asked for the manager to contact me. I had to ask again on July 27th. Finally, on 8/09/2022, I called the office and spoke to *** at 9:19 am. He said the manager would call back, but they never did. Instead, *** called me back. I requested a partial refund since we still had pests and encountered the following issues: APS staff never mentioned that the pests might not be completely eliminated. When we asked, they told us to move all items from the rooms. We moved everything either outside or to the basement, using bags and boxes. The chemical they used, ***, can be purchased on Walmart.com for $***. APS didn't provide clear information about their treatment. They assured us that they would take care of the problem, but I didn't know they couldn't handle it in just one room and not the entire house. It has been almost 2 months, and we still have issues. I believe we were overcharged, as we still have the problem despite the website's promise to resolve it.
