Agora Business Publications LLP review: Trial subscription

I subscribed for an HR related e publication. It said it was free and one would be subscribed if they didn't cancel after 30 days. It didnt say one would be invoiced for the trial period nor did it state what the subscription would be. After a few weeks I received a publication and a bill for future 3 or 4 publications. I responded to their email to say I had not subscribed. Emails went back and forth up to March 2023 and the demand then was £88. If Agora was no scam they would have heed and unsubscribed then. But no they carried on arguing I was subscribed and now use a debt collect, they now want over £200. I phoned them and they say they have no record of my calls. After one publication in February or March I did not receive any paper publication again.

I receive a lot of emails inviting me to buy and attend courses, webnars, etc and have not responded to any.

This business is a scam definitely
