Acorn did a great job. The Lender with the best rate was suspect. I could not find a phone number anywhere to contact them. I had to go with a higher rate with a reputable company.

Acorn found what I was looking for with prosper and they were very fast n helpful to reach out to me quick n u can also fax over papers which was wonderful for me took a couple days but I did not mind as long as they was gona help me.fast n nice n explain n answer my questions w alot of patients thank you prosper and acorn . I am having work done and in the proposal there was a link to offer financing. I clicked on the link, Acorn Finance asked a couple of questions on how much I was looking for and for what purpose. I answered the questions and then get a call saying I had been approved. After looking over the agreement, the interest rate seemed too high for my liking, I declined the offer and then was told I was eligible for a Line of Credit. I asked for that information to review. Before I could look at the agreement, it asked me to select how much I was planning on drawing out initially on the amount approved and the terms. Never did I get a chance to preview the agreement before selecting the drawn amount. Mind you, I had "already been approved" for a certain amount. I was uncomfortable in moving forward, declined that offer. I have sense received a declination email from another company stating I applied with them, of which I had not. I received two letters in the mail from yet another company saying I was declined for the application I submitted, of which I had not applied for. I found out that Acorn works with a company called [Company Name] and they source lenders to get offers. I was completely surprised and very much unaware that multiple companies would be reviewing my information and pulling my credit. This goes against the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Their actions of obtaining access to my credit was without cause or permission.
