Acaipure review: Charge not authorized by me 1528

I received my Visa statement today and there is a charge for $44.85. I did NOT order this and I will not pay it. I was to be charged only for the shipping cost of $4.95 for a FREE sample of Acaipure. Today is 12/4/08 at 3:55 pm.
I have tried to call and am on HOLD for over an hour. This charge will not be accepted. What kind of scam are you into? I want a credit to my Visa and a confirmation of that credit by mail and I will not wait--I want that credit to my account now and the confirmation now. I simply will not put up with this. If you don't mind me asking.

What bank are you using that said you would lose your complaint; or was that this ### company that said you would lose your dispute?

This is my second complaint. I called this morning and was told to hold on for 66 minutes and 47 seconds, that's almost 2 hours. If you try to call in the mornings you will not be able to go to work, if you call in the evenings you can't prepare dinner for your family. I beleive that this is a scam because most people can't hold that long so this gives them the space to send you another order the next time and make more money. Just think how many thousands of people that this is happening to THEY ARE MAKING TONS OF MONEY BY SCAMMING. I am going to report this to the BBB today. One complaint said that we should get together report this to Oprah since her picture is in the ad. I think that's a good idea. In fact we need to sue this company. What do you guys think? clarahardy@sbcglobal.net

I also ordered this FREE product for the shipping and handling of 4.95 and got charged the 44.95 and have yet to receive the product itself. I have alerted my bank and since it was in the early stages, they were able to block the payment and refuse any future transaction they may try to make. When you call the [protected] number you are told that your wait time will be 54 minutes and 30 seconds, they are counting on you not having the patience to hold that long.

Like many others, I just wanted the trial offer paying only the shipping. I was charged 44.95 for the so-called "trial" offer, and later was billed another 44.90 for a shipment I never authorized. I too have been calling for the last two days getting a recording that it would take 55mins. and 7 sec. to get a human to talk to. That too is a farce, because no one comes on after 55mins and 7 sec. What a scam! I will not return the package until I hear from your customer service department. How can I trust your claim to refund my money after you recieve the package, when you haven't been honest with me so far. As to the restocking fee, I never asked you to unstock your product.

I only wanted the Acaipure and NOT the other two things. Have been trying to call you all but the line is always tied up, wonder why? Who is going to sit for 59 minutes and wait on you all to answer. Email me back with an explanation or I will send it all back to you. My credit card was charged ( which is called dishonesty) for an amount I might not have had. I want that put back immediately and I will send everything back to you. Don't ever email me and want me to buy anything else because this was a scam. I am going to notify the Better Business Bureau and let them know just how sorry you all are.

I also ordered ACAIPURE free trial product for $4.95 SH only and was charged $44.85 for 2 other products not ordered. I am furious trying to reach someone at this number [protected] to get a return merchandise authorization number. If there are any other way of contacting them please let me know. Thanks

I ordered ACAIPURE on Saturday for a sample and a charge of $4.95. My account shows a debit of $44.85. This is a complete fraud. I have the phone number listed on ACAIPURE site, the operator had me on hold for 55 minutes. I also sent an email for an explanation and refund of overcharges. I am going to cancel my debit card to stop future charges from my account. THIS is a SCAM.

I ordered the free trial sample and was sent the full product & charged 44.95. I called the company many times to complain of the over sight and was told to hold for 42 minutes 27 seconds because of the high volume of calls. Those must be complaint calls. I HAVE A JOB TO GO TO. On 10/30/08 I was charged 39.95, today is 11/11/08 and I have not received the product.I am on the phone now on a 42 minute hold to cancel this product. The product does not work anyway. I really think that they put you on this extensive hold hoping that customers will not have the time to hold and hang up. THIS SMELLS LIKE A SCAM TO ME.

I too was offered the free trial of 60 capsules for 1.95 and it took forever to get the order, like 3 wks and it contained the pills I ordered along with gum and water drops. I thought maybe they were free for being so late but later found out that they charged my account for 44.95. I have finished the product and did not loose any weight!

I ordered on line a free trial period offer for $4.95 and by mistake forgot to uncheck one of the other boxes in addition I never received the email confirmation but continue to receive emails from the company. My account was charged $34.90 which when I called back it took over 45 minutes to get someone and then I was given a credit for half the product which I had not receive until 4 days later but I asked the individual on the phone what I needed to do to cancel and was there anything I needed to return and the man said no and gave me my order number and told me if I had problems to send a email back which I did upon receiving my product which did not contain the items I ordered. And now I called them back after waiting over 2 hours and they said initially the wait time was 52 minutes. When I asked the lady who finally answered why I was charged she told me it was for the bottle that was sent and that if I read the terms of agreement that if I was not satisified and wanted to cancel I was to return the bottle and then I would not be charged. But I told her when I asked the other man was there anything I needed to return he told me no but she said I should have read the terms. But I asked if someone asked them if there is anything to do are they going to tell them and she said no that they should have read the terms. So I asked her if they were asked would they tell people she said no and if I had a complaint to send it to there email address which they do not respond to.

I was just called by my creditcard company stating that a suspicious charge had been put through to my card - the amount was $44.85. I had ordered a free sample and was to be charged only $4.95 S&H. I am at this moment holding for their customer service department to cancel the order. What a total ripoff.

the same thing happened to me from a free trial for teeth whitening. I paid 1.00 for the trial and it took so long that the order was never canceled because I had forgotten about it until I saw the charge on my credit card. I called the company and they said I was responsible. I got to the manager and discussed it with him and he assured that we could split the cost as to the fact the first shipment for the subscription was already sent out. Subscription...that is not a TRAIL offer. Trial means you try it and if you lke it THEN you order it...not the other way. It is trruely a shame that today this is the world we live in. SCAMS for the innocent hard working people that have more to do with there life than chase down thieves thru the mail. It makes me so very angry! Keep posting for those less fortunate.

As for sending them back, you can just put "return to sender" on the package and the post office will return them as long as the package hasn't been opened. As for getting money back, I just sent them an e-mail, stay tuned.

I also ordered a free trial and was charged $44.95. I have been trying to contact the company but have not been able to get through. Today I find out that they have charged me a second month for $44.95 and I have not received any merchandise nor did I authorize them to make additional charges on my credit card. This sounds like a job for the State Attorny Generals Office.

I ordered a trial sample of the acaipure products paying the shipping and handling charges for it. On september 26/th 2008
I saw charges on my bank statement for $41.95. After trying too call several times I sent two e-mails immidately and got no response from the company, I then thought the bank could help so I went there and signed a statement but they thought it was a scam and then after all that I got another shipment a month later on october 27/th charging my account again a $39.95. I called the company several times in all this time and finally one day I waited an hour too too finally get a represenative on the other end when they were taking calls, I explained my dilemma and all I got was that I should have cancelled these orders. What did I not do too cancel these shipments? Well once the bank paid the charges they deducted them from my account again, I couldnt do anything about it and tried too send the order back only they wouldnt send a return shipping label to me when I requested one so I knew from one experience before that I hadnt better return the acaipure order or they would keep that order also, I would not hear from them after having paid for what I didnt order as well. Well after all the trouble for over a month I changed my bank account for a new one and they have no access to it if they didnt cancel their shipments to me.I also cancelled with the represenative when I finally got one.

I sent for a free trial, which I never received, then on 10/01/01 and 10/28/08, my crecit card was charged $44.85 and $39.95 respectfully, even though I never received anything. And like I said, I only order a free sample. Then today, I got an email supposedly from UPS with a tracking number, saying my package sent to the wrong address, and that if I don't pick it up from UPS in 10 day, I will be charges $6.00 a day! I called my UPs stores in my area, and they never heard of this tracking number. I don't know what to do.

The absolute same thing has happened to me except I only inquired and all 3 products were sent to me! I returned them, argued with the representative over a 15% re-stocking fee and the cost of mailing. He called me a liar as well! Now, I just received another shipment! I am working with my credit card on this. If you have any advice please let me know.

I didn't even know I ordered this product, while looking on line. I did put in my debit number, but thought order was only $1.99. Then I decided to cancel. The next thing I see this charge appear on my account for $41.85 and didn't know what it was for until I checked my bank account. I did not even recieved product and I don't want it. This makes me think the scams will keep charging my account. I am going to contact my bank. I tried the call the scammers, but got a recording. I thought you could trust Oprah.

the exact same thing happened to me, i called and couldn't get
a live person on the line, then i emailed them and finally i got
a person after a 4o minute wait, they said wait time was 23
minutes. The person that got on the line wanted to give me a
tracking number, since i didn't receive the product. She said
it was too late to take the charges off my bill and wanted to know why i didn't call when i didn't receive my product. She also said i should have noticed the 1st charge on my bill, which i did and couldn't get through, i asked how old she was and she said 19 and also that she would have noticed that she didn't get the product and checked her charge bill. I explained to her that i have alot more on my mind then wondering how late my product was. Unbelievable company, i'm making a complaint to the Better Business Bureau and called my credit card company but we should all do more, i just don't know what!
Good Luck everyone, call your credit card company and explain it and they should take that off your bill! Don't give
up.

Started to order the "free trial" only to find out they wanted $4.95 for shipping. When I declined, they came back at me on the web site stating now they would reduce the shipping charge to $1.99 Received the trial and paid the $1.99. Next month credit card was charged 39.95 for a bottle I didn't order.
Tried to reach them many times on the toll free #. This is what I got----
"Due to the popularity of our products we are experiencing unusually long wait times. "Current wait time is 49 minutes and 30 seconds."
Wonder Oprah knows their using her name for this rip off?

I agree with all of the above comments, and was also robbed by this low life company. I was initially charged $44.85, sent the products back, and continue to be billed for $39.95. A class action suit is definitively in order, and Oprah should be notified...PRONTO.

Let's all work on putting this "### of the earth" company out of business so other, unsuspecting people do not have to go through what we have all endured!

Hi Everybody this is Vanessa again. Having read all the complaints on this site and two others I did more investigating and found the name of CCN's CEO - Graham D Gibson on another site. I decided to send him an email asking him about the activity at his company and included my telephone number asking him to call me and he did about 5 minutes ago which was a pleasant surprise. He told me about the inclusion of the other items that I had ordered and that I hadn't notice and said that this was a common mistake that many of us have made when ordering the product. I like many of you thought I was just doing the free trial and wasn't expecting a charge of ~$45. He did say that my money would be refunding less the restocking fee when I returned the products that I hope to receive soon so I am very optimistc that this will happen. A lot of people are happy with the product and were probably more vigilant in their ordering than we were. He also said that they get 1000's of calls on their customer support line and had only ~45 people managing this hence the long wait times on the phone (which I wasn't prepared to wait for). So all in all if things go to plan and I get a refund for the additional items I do not want I will be happy and will try the product as >90% are happy with it. I can only suggest that you try to get a refund by email and if that doesn't work contact Graham by email who may be able to rectify things for you - his email address is graham@centralcoastnutra.net and if this site doesn't post email addresses you should be able to get it at www.azsfinestthings.com under the contact page.

PS if you have seen information suggesting there is a class action suit against this company that is not true.

Hope this helps - good luck! I'll let you know if I get a refund on the extra items.

Wow what a shock - I should have read this before I was fooled by this scam. I have cancelled my card and requested a refund from the company - I haven't received anything yet either. Typically I always search for any offers on the net and add the word scam to the search - I think the inclusion of Oprah's name lulled me into a false sense of security - won't be doing that again regardless of the 'seller' Good luck everybody!

Everyone is suffering from the same things: receiving wrong orders, bogus numbers, no answers, wrongful charging to your account, etc. However, if the number doesn't work and the e-mails go unanswered, then I say that we go back to the sites we got trial from, check the Terms and Conditions, and mail them a letter telling them to cancel your order and stop sending you things you didn't order. If that doesn't work, then I also say that we band together here and take them all to court and see just how it goes. Maybe, if it works, then we'll get them to stop their b.s. and give us back our money, even if it was a dollar. If all else fails, I say close out that account and open up a new one. When you order online next time, try a Wal-Mart Master or Visa card or Pay Pal instead of using your usual debit or credit card. If so, use credit and not debit and check your account regularly because you can keep track of your purchases and keep down identity theft.

you all should pay attention to the order confirmation form, to the right of the form two boxes were automatically checked, saying you wanted these other products, kind of how email company's do. well if you do not un-check these boxes you will be charged! NO Scam, you just didn't pay attention!
