I was quoted different percentages on financing and dollar amounts and time it would take to pay off the loan than the actual MUCH HIGHER amounts on the contract which I did sign but was hurried and told by Adrianna she doesn't have time for me to review the whole contract. Hanna and her both gave me initial quotes that went between 108$ and 117$ that went to 158 at 9.99 percent rather than the 6 percent initially verbally quoted. The rebates and install was on par but the rest was decided and trickery
Desired outcome: Id like them to inform the clients with real numbers. Not mislead them and hurry them signing. I have a legal and teaching degree. Hold a mortgage and regular accounts and cards and have never had reason to lodge complaint before.
I'm sorry to hear about what happened to you. I too fell for the same scam. Only the people who conned me were from JBR Contracting. The heat pump was installed the beginning of Nov after speaking to the rep Michael and Sam Fulga who rushed me right along. Quoted me an interest rate of 2.9 for the first year and then 4% moving forward. They also quoted me a $7,100 government rebate. They presented themselves as representing the government green initiative. The told me that a pre and post audit would happen and they would cover that cost. As it turns out, they buried that cost in my loan amount. The pre audit guy just took quick pictures of the house and then left. A day later, the installer shows up. I had spoken with Sam regarding the contract and a cost breakdown for the job and he assured me that the installer had it with him. The installer stalled giving me any paper work until he was finished installing. In hind sight, I should have stopped him right there. It took this guy 12 HOURS to install the heat pump, yet I was told 3-4 hours. Do I have concerns about the job? I sure do. The company would not provide me with a TSSA license number for the installer. The installer only had a work order for me to sign, nothing else. I was angry and let him know it but all he could say was that he was just the installer. To get rid of him, I signed the order. Since then, its been a nightmare getting in contact with these people. I wanted to see a full contract, breakdown of costs, a warranty for the product and my rebate. Because of the run around they gave me I filed a complaint with the BBB. When JBR found this out, they told me no rebate until I called the BBB off! Out and out blackmail. Reputable companies do not act this way. They even tried to remove the three year old central air conditioner that was there, but I was able to stop them. Liars and thieves, all of them. Creation by Renovation, JBR Contracting, Simply Group and Financeit all need to be put out of business. They are taking advantage of the green initiative program and costing taxpayers in general millions of dollar
Adrianna from 1Click Heating and Cooling thought that it was okay to show my 12-year old daughter how much she is making from her Only Fans page. My daughter now wants to be a "stay at home live model actor just like Adrianna.
My contract with 1Click Heat had a section with a hidden extra compounding interest rate included that was not disclosed to me. I have had to delay my retirement just to keep making the payments and they just get bigger and bigger every year.
Sorry to hear this is the case however Finance agreements have no hidden fees, our lenders are the same as most vendors use such as Financeit, who is one of the largest lending firms in Canada. The Payments are consistent across the term and interest rates from any lender unsecured or secured is Monthly compounding. Finance is fully openended with no penalties for early buyout or down. Customers can chose any term they prefer from 12 months to 20 years depending how low they want the minimum monthly to be however if only making the minimum monthly payment the principal will not reach $0 till the full amortization period. Very Similar to how Mortgages work.
This is not a normal finance equation being used! It says that there some sort of increasing variable year after year making the amount continuously get bigger... how is this normal? Ive never seen this before and was certainly never told about it. Please explain how you are calculating the amount owing vs time passed and payments made sir!
