Zipfizz corp review: Boy was I wrong

Wow ! I was dead wrong about this company. The product is great... the company is terrible. I started working for this company in June of last year...I was promoted pretty fast due to my sales and became a trainer. I started noticing shortages in my pay checks and never received bonuses I was promised. I was also 1099... what never made since to me is if im an independent contractor why am I clocking in and out ..being forced to work 9 hours a day but being docked a half hour for lunch and never being paid after 8 hours...given a uniform and told when and where to go...doesn't that make me an employee?They hide behind the 1099 to avoid a lot of taxes. Isn't that tax fraud? Then I have a regional and district manager making everyone fear for there jobs if they don't sell enough boxes in a day..but i know for a fact they were filling there invoices with bogus hours they never worked and got paid for it. Between the both of them they were making over 100, 000 a year but collecting medicaid benefits and other benefits, they get away with it due to the 1099 IRS code. When I learned of it it made me want to vomit. I was punished by not being paid for a day because I didn't sell enough boxes. I was fired last year on a false customer complaint which later on they figured out it was a false complaint, , but hired me back and did noy compensate me for the time lost. I could go on and on about there business (illegal) practices, it would take up a whole day. I think I Will let my lawyer sort it out. Please think twice before you work for these people. I have a feeling the IRS will be getting involved as well
