A man who introduced himself as Brandon Rutland, membership director at YMCA (contact number 314-436-4100) hung up the phone in my face and was unhelpful in my membership cancellation request.
My membership information is below.
They demand that we show an ID to enter the building without letting us know in advance that is the case before registration. If I had known this, I would NOT have registered! I had ALL my ID's stolen and am in a very difficult process of getting them replaced.
I asked him to REFUND the $28 I paid for the month since I wasn't able to use the services due to YMCA negligence to announce the protocol. He said he would not refund and I had to go there in person to fill out a cancellation form!
* It's unacceptable that YMCA, an organization I've held in high esteem would have a potential customer go through all these hoops and not refund a mere $28 fee!*
BTW: I see none of the YMCA values here!
