Your Premier Properties real estate (YPP) review: Sale of our membership

In June of 2020 we contracted with YPP as they solicited us by phone with a buyer. The method of sale is a trust account opened with Banamex in Mexico into which the buyer deposits the sale price and reimburse other expenses we covered to facilitate the sale. Some expenses (taxes, registration etc) became too much for us so YPP "supposedly" helped us out, the manager even stating he borrowed to help (which we now doubt). In all cases the wire instructions named strange companies so we are very unsure of who received the funds.

After 2 years the trust now has $522k in it and Banamex will not release the funds to us saying a "gov" dept has not given permission. We have lost contact with YPP as their phone is no longer valid and we suspect our money is now in the hands of scam artists! We failed to heed early warnings from RBC about these type of deals and are at a loss as to where to turn for help.
