This so called company advertise in the Daily Mirror and on the Internet. They are offering work from home opportunities processing envelopes and mailing letters. They say they will pay you £2 for every envelope you process and that you can do as many or as few as you wish. The more you do the more you earn. They ask for a £25 fee to show your commitment which will be returned after you process the first 100 envelopes. They also offer a 90 day money back guarantee, if you don't earn any money, or your just not happy with the work then you can get your money back.
It really sounded good, just what I'm looking for to pay off some bad debts, so I sent off my cheque for £25 and waited for the envelopes. My cheque was cashed on 31st March and guess what? I haven't heard a single thing from them.
I realise now that I have been scammed out of £25 that I just cannot afford and desperately need to help pay my bills.
Is there nothing that can be done to stop these Predators from preying on other peoples misery?

i have fell for this too about 3 years ago. They did respond though with a list of about 10 names and a few paperadvertisements(very low budget) to mail out. I needed to buy my own stamps and envelopes and mail theese letters out with my home address as the sender adress to make it look personalized, and hope someone buys.If so Ide profit a small percentage off that letter mailed. It was [censor]. I had to pay for a mailing list of names for customers number 1 and I payed more for stamps and envelopes than I would ever make off the crap they were selling! I don't think there are any real work from home jobs legitamately advertised. If anyone comes across some, , post them please?!

While I realize this is of no help now but 90% of the work at home Co. are a rip off You paid a fee to cover the supplies from them. Most of the time your agreement says you pay is based on the number of responses they get back and the money they say you get per mailing is an average or what you could make. Before sending any money to any one check them out first. The easiest way is to goggle their name on the internet and see what comes back.
