Wondershare is a Chinese company and as we all know most Chinese companies are scammers and Wondershare here is not an exception. I've purchased their software and it did not work. Customer service was absolutely useless, all their advice did not help, and when I asked them to refund my money they said they were not able to do that. It was really hard to communicate with these guys because of their poor English. They took my money and I'm stuck with their app which I can't even use. I'm so disappointed. I saw so many good reviews about these guys but now I think that all these reviews are probably fake. I would not recommend Wondershare to anyone.

I bought a lifetime license for around $100, that then stops working in a couple years when they upgrade to the next version and cancel support for the previous version. Because it was an emergency and I suddenly couldn't export my critical program I was working on, I bought an annual subscription for $60, that in the fine print comes with a constant $20 monthly fee where suddenly regular features stop working if you don't pay it. What a scam.

Wondershare is scam. I purchased a software PDFelement. I subscribed for 1 year. it worked for two weeks only, it pushed me back to trial version and asked me to purphase again that the trial period is over.

The support section is not working and non of the contacts responds.

All effort to reach them were in vain

This is one of the worst companies I've seen. Their own business' practice is targeting people who don't know much about tech. If you google "Resolve 18 download", the first result that will pop up (used to) is their website with the google Ads thing. Simeone who doesn't know what they're looking for will click on the first result and download it. And then their "tech blog" which is just an advertisement for their own products. Their products are not too great either with a subscription for everything and scummy practices.

Do not give this company your credit card because you'll find yourself subscribed to features you never selected and they make it impossible to cancel those subscriptions. You can't get a person on the phone, the chat people say they can't help and you'll end up canceling your bank card because it's the only option to cancel the subscription. Hundreds of internet reviews will validate my claims. Stay away!

I have had a similar experience. I had no idea this was dodgy chinese company or I would never have even tried the free trial from their family protection program, which doesn't work. But worse, they are on google play and app store. The family protection system trial cannot be cancelled and even support button is fake.

Google play is complicit in the scam as they offer no support at all until the scam has taken place. So you get the free trial, cannot cancel during it, and google will allow them to charge you after the 3 day trial has taken place.

You would have though that the big play stores would be safe from this sort of thing. Who wants a dodgy chinese scam app on their phone?. Actually the best you can hope for is that it is 'only' a commercial scam. But google and Apple appstore has this product on them.

Many of the apps leave processes running on your device even after deletion which will still be harming performance, mining your data and doing who knows what?

Then again, one of these corrupt organizations uses a company that is implicated in forced labor and the other sells the Chinese government data. So... no morality or customer protection seems like the least of their crimes.

I had read about Wondershare's DVD authoring program. I was trying to turn video files into a DVD. I *thought* I had done my research on the company (I didn't check the BBB first- that would have saved me the time and hassle!). I was thinking whether or not to get the full version (so that the watermark would be removed). I ended up deciding to purchase a "lifetime membership" for $59.95. Within MOMENTS of hitting purchase, my bank's fraud detection department called me. They called 3 times in 15 minutes (I was on the line the first couple of minutes trying to find contact information for Wondershare-good luck! I also then found all the negative reviews and scam complaints, and the "F" rating from the BBB). I immediately put a stop on my credit card (and actually deactivated it/started a new account with the bank). I sent customer service an email asking for a refund/told them that I wanted my money back and that I had already contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge (see photo- it has their response and my initial message). We'll see what happens. BUYER BEWARE!

i started using Wodershare in 2014 for about a year everything seem ok, i purchased their life time membership that lasted 1 year i guess that is what they consider a life time 12 months .. lol...
it seems that every time they upgrade, usually before your yearly subscription is up, they will upgrade to a new and improved wondeshare product! rendering the old one useless, and making the consumer purchase either for an upgrade or the template upgrade.
initially for the Money their service was fair, now you are better of spending a bit more and getting Adobe aftereffects
far superior, stable and reliable consistent service.

I am sad. As a consumer who pays for a product, I expect it to work. Wondershare/Filmora worked fine for about 4-5 weeks and then poof...it stopped allowing me to upload files to YouTube. Upon contacting this fraudulent company, they said I had to upgrade to the latest version which I did and when that didn't help their only option was for them to take control of my computer via a link they sent me in an e mail. They wanted me to download this program and and give them my password and let them know what time and date I would have this done...I wonder how stupid do they think I am? My husband will contact our credit card company tomorrow and put a block on any charges from this scam company. You can't trust anyone these days!

Like everyone else here I've had nothing but grief with this company, and now I'm out $60 bucks with software that does not export files.

Don't be fooled by this intuitive video editing software. You will be duped into paying for a license and then it will stop working. This is one of those sketchy Chinese companies, like the ones on Wish, that will steal your money and when you need support simply not respond. Kiss your hard earned money good bye! You've been warned!

Unfortunately, I have experienced the same Wondershare fraud.
They make you make a payment for Filmora, promising a "30 Days Money Back Guarantee", but they will never ever give you the money back.
I requested a full refund on 21.09.2017 and a de-activation of my license, that is on the very day of purchase and they continue to refuse.
This is a total scam. Beware of Wondershare!

I have had the same issue. When I threatened legal action last fall, they did refund my money. However, now they have somehow charged me for an auto renewal of the software I uninstalled the same day! They will lie about it. Said I had signed up for auto renewal and that I would have received an email 7-10 days prior. NOT. Lucky I caught it and contacted paypal about this. The charge was also not processed through my account yet, so I placed a stop payment and to never pay these people. Somehow, wondershare still has an account for me, which I cannot delete, and they have payment information...which isn't even up to date.
Paypal is going to investigate. My only save. However, they do have an office in BC, and they have laws. I am going to pursue this. This company has committed fraud.

After the recent "upgrade" I'm unable to do what the older version did. Trying to get ANYTHING useful now produces nothing but a maze of advertising ("buy more of these 'fantastic' things") and complaints will get you empty promises of a response within a day. Absolutely and criminally outrageous. I want Wondershare to go bankrupt. kaylaartist1954 of US: please inform me how you will pursue your case legally; I intend to do the same.
