Responded to AKC white pug puppy ad on PuppyFind.com on 1/19/14, called Michelle Horvath, breeder, who informed me that for $2000 I would get an AKC white pug puppy as advertised, health guarantee, pedigree and the AKC full rights registration for this puppy. The Breeder and internet ad stated that the parents of puppy were AKC registered. Based upon those facts of what the breeder told me and the information advertised in the ad, I decided to purchase the AKC white pug puppy, and paid breeder $2, 230 for this puppy by 2.10/14, and received puppy on 2/22/14 via airline shipping ($230) but with no AKC paper registration, no AKC registration numbers of dam and sire, no pedigree and no health record of this puppy.
Breeder gave me all kinds of excuses when I finally could reach her, she did not return my calls or emails most of the time regarding the completion of this internet business transaction.
Called AKC many times finding out that litter was never registered and neither was the dam.
Finally, about 1 1/2 ago, through pressure of the Cleveland BBB and the Ohio State Attorney Office, she finally registered the dam and her litter.
Basically, I have only received condescending voice messages, rude derogatory emails from this breeder who told me among other things I was harassing her in this issue.
64 days and I'm still waiting for the AKC registration papers, health records of this white pug puppy that the breeder gladly and very readily took my $2, 230 money. Now, she does email to say for me to stop contacting her because she has sent the papers certified mail to me.
This breeder does not show any professionalism, and I feel consumers better be aware. There has already been a complaint with the same BBB in April 2012 and Ohio State Attorney General's office in April 2012 with this breeder.
