When feeling unmotivated you need to change how you usually act to still be effective. When changing how you think, start off by accepting your mood but don’t let it stop you from doing any tasks. For instance, reprogram your mind differently than ‘I’m tired, therefore I can’t’ to it’s alright “I am tired today, but I am going to get it done.” Proving to yourself that you are capable of performing various tasks when stressed, reinforces this belief. Don’t be fooled, the state of your mind does not need to determine your actions: yes, you can feel fatigued but still accomplish tasks.
This is really great advice. Disconnecting mood and action. I don't know why I would push through work even though exhausted and meet the deadline, but I wouldn't do it for myself, for what truly matters to me.
Hi Nischa, been following for a while and just wanted to say thank you for the very helpful content! Stuck between 10h workdays, family and trying to get a side hustle going, finding time and energy to be productive is a big part of the challenge. Many thanks and all the best!
I don’t know about others but the first point you brought up is the hardest. It takes a lot of practice and effort to disassociate your emotions and work output. Something I’ve failed at miserably and it’s probably the one thing that makes me fail again and again. Would love to know how you did that or probably it came naturally to you?
point 3 is dope. Guys stop jumping from content to content. Get 2-3 points and work on them. You will change your life
