West Financial review: Refinancing a home

I went online looking for what I thought would be a reputable and safe company to look into refinancing my home. After going through the website, I was approached by a West Financial in Tustin, CA that identified themselves as being part of Rocket mortage. (This was confirmed by rocket mortage). After all the applications were filled out and requested documents sent to them, I was told that everything was looking really good and all that needed was an appraisal done on the house. I was charged $745.00 on my credit card and as Rocket mortage stated they only recorded $545 the appraisal was done and I never heard back from the finance company again. I made numerous calls leaving voice mails to contact me as well as emails with absolutely no response. I called rocket Mortage directly and was finally in touch with Bryan Conroy who claimed to be an Executive Advocate for Rocket Mortage. after about 2 weeks of not hearing anything finally received an email stating that there was nothing they could do. No explanation no nothing. I feel like I was robbed/ scammed whatever you want to call it.
