I am a regular shopper in walgreens. I get all my family's pharmacy needs as well as other needs. The pharmacist and their techs are always so helpful and pleasant, however, there are a couple of front desk employees and one manager (especially the manager with glasses that was working around 5:30 pm on 12/14/2020) that always have an issue about price matching what is listed on the walgreens app! Most of the time I have no issues as most of the employees and the managers ring it up at the priced advertised (this product is a walgreens brand just to be clear). I have purchased this product at least 20 or 30 times with the same exact deal and they said they received word from cooperate that they could not match this in store but had to buy it online and get it shipped. They looked at me like I was trying to weasel them out of money when walgreens is the one that advertises it. If you do not want people to get the product at a lower value in order to get more business then you should not advertise it on the app. On the app it lets you pick your store and tells you what is in stock and gives a price. My main problem is their lack of customer service. I'm not a karen and i'm not someone that normally likes to spend my time filing a complaint but the were terrible and honestly makes me want shop elsewhere. Instead of apologizing and helping me find a better option, or showing me how to order on the app, they were short and ugly. This is not the way to keep customers happy. Minimal customer service knowledge or common sense would tell one how to handle this situation but they had zero customer service skills and should not be in their position cause I am sure they make others feel this way. An even longer story short, I went home, pulled up the app up ordered the product and selected to pick it up in store at the same exact price as the app said. They said that the price was not available for instore purchase, but clearly I bought it and picked it up in store an hour or so later, so therefore I wasted time that I shouldn't have because a couple of your employees dont know customer service from a hole in the ground. Rant over but do something about it or risk loosing customers.
