Vision and Eye Care in Thorold, On review: Laser treatment

It seems that every three months or so, my wife is called in to the Eye care clinic. The last two times we were not even told what the reason was.

She was not told that there was any problems at all, yet during last weeks visit the physician did a laser procedure "to relieve pressure on both eyes"

When I asked why was she not told at the previous visit that there was a need or that she had unacceptable high pressure on her eyes, the physician got very upset saying that he is a doctor and our optometrist is just that. Yet during our regular check-up, our Optometrist always checks the pressure on the eyes and she never had high pressure during these visits.

We got the feeling that she is being used and OHIP is being "milked".

There are literally hundreds of people go thru that clinic each day.
