Virbo review: Harsh cancellation policy

I wish to record my dissatisfaction with the action taken by Sam and Mary with whom l dealt for the rental of accommodation at #69 Lawrence Rd Tottenham London.

Due to changed circumstances it became necessary to extend a reservation l made for the stated address through Travelocity by an additional three (3) nights, unfortunately l had to cancel the reservation within 24 hours as P&O Cruises cancelled the cruise which was due to sail from Southampton England.

When l made the reservation l was not advised that there was a strict non refund policy and no printed or electronic information which indicated that my money will not be refunded in the event of a cancellation,. l was surprised to be provided with such information when l had to cancel, as that policy differs from what exist on the Travelocity App for the said property.

It is

worthy to note that most service providers and other entities have made adjustments to their cancellation policies to accommodate consumers in these COVID 19 times and will at least provided a grace period of 24 hours before imposing a penalty which does not entail the loss of the full payment.

This matter is brought to your attention as l believe l should not suffer a total loss of my money. lt is hoped that my complaint will be addressed to enable some redress in this matter.
