We attended the 90 minute presentation and did receive the free gifts at the end. Upon reading all of the terms and conditions attached to them I decided to do a little checking on the company that we were supposed to send the refundable deposit. After researching the company on the Better Business Bureau website we will not be sending them any money. You make up your own mind, below is the BBB report on this company.

I've booked with them before.. no complaints on our end. Yeah presentation, free gifts. Solid getaway. There's always going to be someone who wants to complain.

It really did SEEM more complicated then it was - but itwasn't a scam, it went quite well. I had 2 certificates 1 for air line tickets and the other for a 7 day cruise. I opted to use them separately. My tickets are booked for the end of March to Indianapolis and cost me all taxes and fees right at 1/3 of what I'm used to. My cruise I requested for September out of my local port, Port Canaveral. I'm a local and got my certificate from PDI and so far most everything has seemed very reasonable and has worked good.

I too wonder why you would say something was a "travel scam" when YOU never actually even tried to travel. When I read online I saw a lot of GOOD and a lot of BAD, but I've never been a follower, one to let others make my decisions for me, so I, gave it a shot. I had a certificate was for a 3, 4, or 5 night cruise during low season. We ended up not being able to use it because my wife had to have surgery. But the reservation process seemed fairly cut and dry, mail certified the registration form with a $99 deposit, request dates, be told what the availability is, and in my case have to decline and request a refund :( But yes I did receive my refund, and would have received travel has I been able to go. All is good, I just hope we get to utilize a certificate next time if given the chance!

I'm sorry but I don't feel you can accurately claim something is a "scam" if you personally have never actually tried to use the service. We currently have 78, 000 active, happy travelers, and of all of our complaints, BBB, online, etc our complaints total less that .3% of our clients. Of course you can't please them all, and there are several people that it just hasn't worked out for, but I can honestly say at least 95% of all of our .3% of complaints are people who didn't send their certificate in per the terms and conditions, requested holidays which are fully disclosed, cancel because we took to long to get back to them when our certificates allow for notification 30 - 45 days before requested dates, etc, etc, etc. Unfortunately it is usually only the unhappy that speak up. I can say Mr. Loe above and many of the others on hear making nice comments we do appreciate greatly and plan to continue to provide the best travel fulfillment available. I am sorry you feel the way you do, however your assumptions are inaccurate.

I disagree and feel that was your loss. I had the two airline tickets, I didn't get the car rental the company offered because I guess that was only if you responded in a specified amount of time. oh well, I sent my stuff in, they sent me 3 green sheets, one was the travel request form, I filled it out and sent it back. It asked for two dates and destinations, but I really only wanted one but i called and they said this was okay but it would be based on availability. Alexia called me yesterday and offered it to me, it cost me $166 and I got exactly what we needed. I called today just to be sure and it is all booked. Just waiting on my confirmation and the $75 gift card that came with it now.
